Day 2 INTA 🇨🇳: MEPs met Cai Dafeng, Vice-Chair of the National Party Congress Standing Committee. The talks focused on the importance of securing fair & balanced trade, swift implementation of the October TIC outcome & the need for further rebalancing in view of the next meeting.

Today in Beijing, EU Ambassador to China @CasparVeldkamp welcomed the 12-member @EP_Trade delegation. MEPs also exchanged with EU ambassadors about EU-Trade concerns.
On Monday 26 October, Ambassador @CasparVeldkamp delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the ‘Zero-Carbon Mission International Climate Summit’, organized by WWF China and Phoenix TV.

The visit of EU Heads of Mission to China to Guilin, Guangxi province on 19-21 October, 2026
From 19 to 21 October 2026, EU Heads of Mission to China participated in another reiteration of their regular provincial retreats and paid a visit to Guilin in Guangxi province.
The visit was organized by the Embassy of Ireland currently holding the Presidency of the Council of the EU.
During their visit, EU Member States’ Ambassadors met with the Party Secretary of Guilin and other high-ranking officials.
