An honor and joy to serve our wonderful state! 💙
Congratulations to Maryland’s Principals and Assistant Principals of the Year! Today, the State Board and MSDE proudly recognized these outstanding leaders, as selected by @Maespmd and @mdmassp.

Yesterday we didn’t just celebrate the First Day of School but it was also @EasternMS_Prin birthday!!! We even had a special visit from Mr. Sean McGee who also had a birthday yesterday. All around celebrations at #EagleNation🦅.
Transition Day at Eastern was a success! We even had @EasternMS_Prin doing karaoke. So excited for today and to welcome all students back!
I am excited to share that Eastern will be partnering with Identity this year. Today we met with our ELD department, Community School Liaison, ETC, and our Linkages to Learning staff to begin discussing the work for our students, staff, and families. cc: @EasternMS_Prin

Summer is closing in as we finish the month of July.
Hosted our A-Team Meet & Greet yesterday & thanks to Principal Intern @MerinoLeads for the reminder to schedule our A-Team retreat.
The gardens @Zinnia were lovely & we’re excited about this year @ the EagleNation! 🦅
This is Ms. Dickey, my Math teacher when I was a student at Magruder HS. She is my biggest cheerleader & I’m thankful to have her in my corner always supporting me. The impact of a caring & compassionate teacher on a child is lifelong & I am grateful to have that with her.
Come out and meet the #EagleNation🦅 Admin Team next Wednesday 7/23 at 5:00pm! We are excited to meet our comunidad!!! cc: @EasternMS_Prin
It’s July 1st. New school. New title. New handle @MerinoLeads. New chapter but always the same purpose to “do right by the kids”.
