Moniepoint MFB Enables USSD Access for FG’s ₦50,000 Relief Fund
Moniepoint Microfinance Bank has launched a USSD feature allowing customers to check their eligibility for the Federal Government’s ₦50,000 National Emergency Relief and Stabilisation Intervention (NERSI) and receive their payouts directly.
Spearheaded by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, the NERSI scheme offers direct financial aid to vulnerable Nigerian households to help ease current economic hardship.
As an official payment partner for the program, Moniepoint is using its digital infrastructure to ensure smooth disbursement. Account holders can check if they qualify by dialing *5573*27# from their registered mobile numbers. Eligible customers will be prompted on-screen to accept the ₦50,000 payment, which will be credited to their Moniepoint account free of charge.
