🚨 @BitMartExchange, your latest statement is misleading users. Instead of providing concrete answers about withdrawals, BitMart is talking about restructuring and possible future distributions. So why do the actions of Sheldon Xia (@sheldonbitmart) and BitMart give users serious grounds to suspect fraud? 1. Forced closure of positions. Trading pairs were delisted without proper advance notice, resulting in the forced closure of both long and short positions. The delisting notice appeared on the website around the same time, and many users simply never saw it. 2. Users cannot withdraw their money while funds continue to move. On-chain transactions from known wallets associated with BitMart continued despite users being unable to access their funds. Who controls these assets, where are they being sent? 3. No transparent explanation of customer assets. There is still no clear, independently verifiable information about available assets, liabilities, or a concrete timeline for returning customer funds. 4. Social media accounts and communications disappeared. According to affected users, members of the team close to Sheldon deleted or removed access to multiple social media accounts. Telegram accounts and conversations were also deleted. 5. Wallet balances dropped dramatically in July. According to on-chain monitoring by affected users, balances of wallets associated with BitMart fell dramatically — reportedly by roughly two-thirds during July. These movements require a transparent explanation. 6. APRs were increased before the shutdown. Shortly before the shutdown announcement, users were offered higher APRs — 11% and above — and encouraged to deposit more funds into Savings. Afterward, funds held in Savings at these rates were moved back to users' spot accounts without the promised interest being credited. If the platform was already experiencing liquidity or reserve problems at that point, users deserve to know when management became aware of them and why it continued attracting funds. 7. Registrations and deposits remained available after the shutdown announcement. Despite announcing a shutdown, new users could still register and deposit funds. At the same time, there was no prominent warning on the main page informing users that they might be unable to withdraw their money. As a result, people could continue depositing. 8. Sheldon disappeared from public view while continuing to suggest that everything was fine with the exchange. Despite the withdrawal crisis and numerous unanswered questions, Sheldon largely disappeared from public communication while publishing statements that created the impression that the situation was under control. 9. Offices were closed, while regulatory claims raise further questions. Affected users report that BitMart offices have closed. There are also serious questions regarding representations made about BitMart's regulatory/licensing status in Australia. 10. Tens of thousands of affected users are reporting the same problem. Telegram communities alone contain tens of thousands of people discussing the situation. Accounts may display daily withdrawal limits of approximately $500–$2,000, yet affected users report being unable to withdraw even $1. 11. The situation has spread far beyond the exchange itself. Personal information concerning members of Sheldon's family, including his wife, has reportedly been published in Chinese darknet communities. According to reports, rewards are also being offered there for information that could help locate Sheldon. The involvement of White & Case as restructuring counsel does not mean withdrawals have resumed and does not guarantee that customers will recover their funds. All of these allegations and observed on-chain movements require transparent answers and an independent investigation. @BitMartExchange: Where are the customer assets? Who controls them now? Where did the funds go? And when will users finally get their money back? #bitmart

No August doldrums in DC this week! It was great to join the inaugural @CFTC Innovation Advisory Committee (a group I've called "the Olympic roster of crypto.") But for a “crypto” gathering, there were a LOT of TradFi players in the room like @NASDAQ, @CMEGroup, @CBOE, @OptionsClearing, @NYSE, @The_DTCC (alphabet soup!) Everyone was in agreement. Rules written for a different era aren’t good enough. Not for consumers. Not for business. Not for innovation. I made this case in an open letter to Congress back in 2019. Seven years later, we STILL need clear rules…. Thanks to the Trump administration, appointees like @ChairmanSelig, and a myriad of bold leaders in Congress, we’ve never been closer. ripple.com/insights/open-let…

Bitcoin topped $77,000 for its best week since 2023, CFTC Chair Mike Selig says the agency will write crypto rules itself if Congress can't pass the CLARITY Act, and XRP surges as Ripple backs a new institutional credit fund built around RLUSD. @uyendoe has what you need to know.

Before 2014 Germany had the perfect setup. Cheap Russian energy.
Polish factories.
Expensive cars sold to China. The most dynamic economy in the world. Then America said:
no more Russian energy. And blew up Nord Stream. Then America said:
no more trading with China. Germany was not defeated by an enemy. It was consumed by its ally. That is what empires do
when they start to decline. They stop feeding their allies. They start eating them.

🚨BREAKING: Brad Garlinghouse is hinting that $XRP could become part of America’s financial system after Ripple spent $150,000,000fighting the SEC. Some projections now point ABOVE $30,000 per XRP. This is MUCH bigger than people realize.

BitMart customers, PLEASE, go to any White & Case office and ask them if BitMart has appointed White & Case as its restructuring counsel, to evaluate the available options and assist in developing the potential restructuring plan of BitMart. whitecase.com/locations

🚨 U.S. Treasury Secretary Just Doomed The Trust On Dollar and Bond Market With One Sentence Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent just said the quiet part out loud: “We’ll just grow our way out of $40 TRILLION in debt.” He also added that bond buybacks will be more than doubled. That is a death sentence dressed up as policy. It’s important to understand what direction this is headed: They have no plan to cut spending. No plan to balance the budget. No plan to stop the bleeding. “Grow our way out” is the oldest, most dangerous lie in the fiat playbook: Code for print, print, and print some more. More QE. More monetization of the debt. More dilution of every single dollar in your pocket until it’s worth nothing. Till today, the U.S. printing was absorbed by inflation by other countries who needed dollars as reserves. But they are now pivoting. Watch what happens next: • Confidence in US Treasuries collapses as the world realizes the bonds are backed by nothing but more promises • Foreign buyers walk away → yields explode higher • Higher yields make the $40T debt even more expensive to service → deficits explode further → even MORE printing • The death spiral accelerates Meanwhile, while Washington pretends everything is fine, China is methodically building the exit ramp. For the first time, China is internationalizing a gold-backed yuan and rolling out blockchain settlement systems that completely bypass the dollar. Capital is already quietly shifting. The petrodollar is cracking. The world is preparing for a post-dollar order and Bessent just told them America has no intention of putting its own house in order. This isn’t fiscal policy. This is the controlled demolition of the world’s reserve currency. The crash was always going to be upward… until it isn’t. When the music stops, there won’t be enough chairs for anyone.

🚨 IF THE PETRODOLLAR COLLAPSES, THE DOLLAR LOSES IT’S RESERVE STATUS. Japan’s one of the largest bank SBI Japan’s CEO @yoshitaka_kitao warned in an open letter about the mounting pressure on the petrodollar months ago. After U.S. Treasury announced sanctions, Iran declared that if the U.S. doesn’t leave the Middle East entirely, every barrel of oil flowing through the strait of Hormuz will be forced to trade in Chinese Yuan and cryptocurrencies. Born in the 1970s: U.S.-Saudi deal (now the entire Gulf) made oil (and most energy) priced & settled almost exclusively in USD. Producers recycled those dollars into U.S. Treasuries & assets → permanent demand for the dollar, cheap U.S. borrowing, and global dollar hegemony. Now the system is eroding fast: China, Russia, Iran, parts of the Gulf & BRICS are settling more oil in yuan, local currencies, and non-SWIFT rails. Hormuz disruptions + sanctions are accelerating the shift. The “petrodollar recycling” machine that once forced the world to buy dollars is losing steam. Meanwhile in the U.S.: National debt just smashed through $40 trillion. 10-year yields are climbing toward multi-year highs as markets price in endless deficits + rising oil. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent: “I don’t really understand” why oil is spiking… and “there’s nothing magic about the $40 trillion number, we can grow our way out of that.” When the energy currency of the world starts fracturing at the same moment the issuer is drowning in debt and pretending growth alone will fix it… history says the adjustment is never gentle. BoJ’s Yuto revealed that Bank of Japan has run an extreme case scenario of collapse of trust of U.S. creditors on U.S. Treasuries. We are now watching that happening in real time.

🚨 Brad just REVEALED the ONE thing blocking XRP’s EXPLOSION The only thing holding back institutional-scale adoption of XRP and the Ledger is the Clarity Act. Once it gets the green light… the floodgates don’t just open, they get BLOWN OFF. The XRP Ledger has already been battle-tested by central banks, JPMorgan, BlackRock and a long list of institutions. Treasuries. Tokenized stocks. Commodities. Currencies. All already live on XRPL. Clarity Act = official regulatory green light → institutions go all-in → liquidity tsunami → price discovery on a whole new level. Brad didn’t just speak. He basically told us the countdown has started. Who’s ready? 🔥
Foreigners now own 18% of the entire US stock market, near a record high. The whole world wants US stocks. The rails haven't kept up. The $XRP Ledger is building them. Trade tokenized $wAAPL, $wNVDA and $wMSFT on the $XRP Ledger. Trensik.com

BitMart now says it wants to “restructure” and potentially resume operations. But just two days before announcing its shutdown, on July 24, BitMart was still promoting a “Premium Exclusive Savings” product to VIP users, offering 120-day and 365-day terms, with yields as high as 13.2% APY, specifically targeting users holding six-figure balances. On July 26, BitMart announced an orderly wind-down. And now, just days before the planned August 26 trading shutdown, BitMart suddenly wants to restructure and restart. What happened to the assets deposited into those long-term products? Where are they now? We need transparency, an independent investigation, and protection of customer assets — not another delay. Customers deserve answers, not another change of plan. @sheldonbitmart @BitMart_zh @BitMartExchange @FBI @charles48011843 @justinsuntron @Joes__Crypto @zachxbt
