Fair play to the brands that have successfully infiltrated the middle class downstairs loo aesthetic. Aesop Soap (sometimes refilled with cheaper alternatives) Who Gives a Crap Toilet Paper (ideally seasonal packaging) Jo Malone Candle (too expensive to light of course)

Any update on this @StarbucksUK? I’ve heard nothing

There’s an ad in that.
I love to watch people's shopping habits at the M&S Simply Foods in Gatwick Arrivals. It's a reliable guide to what people have been missing while they've been abroad.

I was there 🙈 Cracking goal that day from Michael Hughes too!
It’s been 26 years since Trevor Sinclair sent the ball soaring across the Upton Park field, leaving Paolo Di Canio to finish the job. Pretty impressive, to say the least.

It’s the 30th anniversary of England’s semi-final defeat to Germany at Euro ‘96. And as Wembley emptied that night, the BBC beautifully used ‘Walkaway’ by Cast for their closer. This is possibly the greatest sad montage of all time. 💔

Who would be the most expensive player in Premier League history adjusting for football inflation (increase in total revenue for the PL per season)? It has to be the greatest goalscorer...the one and only @alanshearer at an inflation adjusted £223.3m when signing for Newcastle. He also appears at £100.2m when signing for Blackburn. @rioferdy5 appears twice in the top dozen signings

Including @AFCWimbledon, there’ll be 9 ex Premier League teams in League One next season. AFC Wimbledon, Barnsley, Blackpool, Huddersfield, Leicester, Luton, Reading, Sheffield Wednesday & Wigan. Some big away days 💙💛
