RIP Mike💔
The NFL didn't just lose a legend. It lost one of the last true larger than life personalities the game has ever seen. RIP Mike Ditka 🕊️🏈

This whole "blame the boomers" narrative is getting old. If the people you're complaining about are 46–61 years old, most of them aren't boomers. They're Gen X. And honestly, Gen X is exhausted from hearing the same complaints on repeat. We didn't get free college. Most of us never had guaranteed pensions. Housing wasn't magically cheap when adjusted for inflation, and plenty of us spent decades working, sacrificing, and starting from scratch. Every generation faces its own challenges. Ours did too. The difference is that we were taught that life isn't fair, nobody is coming to rescue you, and success usually comes from adapting, working, and pushing forward when things don't go your way. You don't have to like that message, but constantly looking for someone else to blame won't improve your situation. At some point, personal responsibility matters more than finding a new generation to be angry at.

Lane Johnson DIDN’T QUIT. He did the hardest thing a football player can do. He chose to live. After 14 years, 5 Pro Bowls, and 2 Super Bowl Rings for the Eagles, he retired to focus on his family and his mental health. He said he deeply wanted to gut it out for one more year with his brothers, but when he looked at his life he knew that his family needed him more. That is not weakness. That is strength. Your Mental health should be a PRIORITY. Always choose your family and your mental health over the approval of others. #outtapocket #nfl #flyeaglesfly #rg3 #family

The worst part about “mental health” takes are that so many people “don’t know what they don’t know” & speak on what they think they know!! Until spending time with someone who deals with specific mental health issues & gaining a truer understanding of what this really entails, you can’t comprehend the levels of it (and even then, I’m sure those of us who don’t struggle with them still can’t fully understand)! It’s sad that people who don’t get it are the ones who create a negative stigma around it, making many afraid to share & get the support they need!

This is exactly the reason why men’s mental health needs to be a forward-facing discussion. Men died by suicide at nearly 4x the rate of women in 2024. Men are also less likely to seek or receive mental health treatment. When a man publicly says he needs help and the response is to ridicule him, what exactly are we teaching the next guy who’s struggling? @stephenasmith @espn

Serious question How many times does Stephen A. Smith have to apologize before ESPN realizes HE is the problem??? Get rid of him and it will be one of the best days in recent ESPN history

Let me just say something. Please read. This morning while producing @jonjohnsonwip on WIP a lot of callers opened up about their mental health after Lane Johnson announced his retirement. Callers who didn’t get on the air, but just wanted to voice how they felt shared with me their stories. I think instead of minimizing mental health, we need to do better. Let’s listen to each other. Let’s not judge those who are struggling, because we don’t ‘understand.’ I think for men (and as a woman I can’t relate) it’s still that “tough it out” mentality. Reality is- who the BLEEP cares what anyone else thinks. You prioritize YOU! I could go on and on, but I’m glad we’re having this conversation regarding mental health, and specifically men’s mental health. It’s time we prioritize mental health just as much as we prioritize physical health. If you need to talk/vent my messages/email are open.

Honestly, she's right. Opposing fans and media don't acknowledge the poor Eagles offensive line play from last season to now, because that would have to mean everything isn't you-know-who's fault. And they can't shake ass for Twitter pennies if that's the case!

Cam Jurgens should be on the eagles bench. Howie just moved that horrific contract and got a 2nd rounder Glen with an agenda here obviously. Smh

“Well some Eagles fans talked about Dak’s brother.” I’m sure some did. Fuck those fans. But why is it that YOU can’t be a good person because of what random strangers on the internet said? Don’t stoop to a low level. Be better.
