This is my interpretation of a barn owl. It was one of the trickiest paintings I’ve ever done. On a 16x12” canvas, it was painted in oils, using the traditional “fat over lean” method. I was glad when I finally finished it.

I’m currently in the final stages of my second Tom Bankowski book, though whether it’ll be a December or January release, I really can’t say.
What I can say is that it’s a mystery with dark comedy, action, adventure and intrigue.
