EU travel problems being encountered by Gibraltar residents were foreseeable & Government should’ve planned for it better, advised people well in advance & put in place solutions. Can unfairly cause real disruption

What did the Rooke building cost? Ystrdy we were given a figure of £90 Million for first time; previously we’ve been told lower figures. What is it? People deserve clear answers

Instead of washing its hands of travel problems that Gibraltar residents are encountering the Government should have pre-empted these issues and now be more proactively dealing with the problems.

Concerning footage of a Guardia Civil vessel in our port. Clear operation wasn’t originally coordinated with our authorities. That’s unacceptable. Security & monitoring support to RGP & Customs in port area should be further enhanced. Well done RGP & Customs on response

Believable or shameless electoral promises GSLP know they won’t meet? Houses originally announced for 2028 by same GSLP that promised you the reclamation would’ve been done already & that construction would start by NOW & that brought you the housing promises in 2015 that 11 YEARS later STILL haven’t been delivered. BIG talk; low delivery. Fabian, Gemma, nothing changes. We recognise there needs to be more Housing for people & we’ll announce the commitments of a future GSD Government in coming months

🇩🇪🗣️ Miroslav Klose: “I stopped playing football because I no longer recognised it. Today, young players think about other things. As a child, I only thought about training and becoming someone in this sport that I always loved. At Lazio and in the national team, after each training session, I put myself in a bathtub full of ice to avoid injuries. But the young players on the team systematically refused.
When they saw me picking up the bags of balls to put them away at the end of training, they said to me 'But who tells you to do that?'.
At that moment, I said to myself: 'You're 20 years old and you can't help a 60-year-old worker?'
They care more about whether their boots go with their socks. That's why I said stop. The football I knew no longer exists.
Today's young players think first of cars, contracts with their sponsors, and their new boots. It is only after all these things that football comes. For them, their image is the most important thing. Whereas for me, all that mattered was football in its purest form.”

Absolutely fantastic. These people had such beautiful voices. It’s sad to see how far music has come from those days to what we have today. ❤️

🗣️ Marc Cucurella:
“I’d never seen this side of Lionel Messi until this World Cup. We always spoke highly of him as someone who was respectful and humble, but this tournament completely changed my opinion of him.
When he reported me to the referee because I slightly touched my mouth, I was shocked. I never expected a player like him to do that.
Throughout the World Cup, I saw him telling referees to book players who tackled him. People call him humble, but I don’t see it that way. Watching everything that happened over the last two World Cups made me question the legacy he’s built.
Cristiano Ronaldo has always been honest about who he is, confident, outspoken, and never pretending to be someone else. I’d choose Ronaldo over Messi any day because I’ve played against both and know what they’re really like.”

This is a current daily reality. It isn’t “scaremongering” to say so & it’ll cause disruption to people, loss of goods & money to the taxpayer & businesses. GSLP Govt said they were “ready” months ago. If they were ready why are these issues arising. Competence not fire-fighting

When MEDICINES for patients - including for cancer patients - are held up at the border we are right to question how ready the GSLP Govt were to implement the Treaty or how they’re doing their job. Obvious & foreseeable. It’s a question of COMPETENCE as @JoelleLadislaus says

Nico Williams's mother, Maria, walked nearly 2,000 miles while pregnant from Ghana towards Spain for a better life.
He grew up to assist the goal that won Spain the World Cup. Then, he gave his winner's medal to his mom.

Friday was the close of a Parliamentary year that saw the trashing of the Principal Auditor; the findings of attempt to interfere in a criminal investigation by CM; the Motion where ALL Ministers backed him & GSLP bring back a Treaty with U-turns on “boots on the ground.” That’s why GSLP apparatchiks want to distract you with LIES that we were against the minimum wage rises etc. In FACT we were not. Here’s what I said:

Disgraceful LIES being put out by GSLP followers to scare you. In FACT we WELCOMED rises in benefits, minimum wage, pensions & pay given cost of living pressures. We voted AGAINST the opaque & unaccounted use of hundreds of MILLIONS of your money. That’s the REALITY they’re trying to hide
