“No record breaking. Don’t push him too hard.”
“Henry won’t need pushing, Sir; I’ll have to hold him back!”
An inevitable variant in any RWS modeller’s collection, here’s my RWS Henry MK1! 🟢🚂
SCC A0 H1 shell, and had quite a lengthy and complicated build process (🧵⬇️)

We've been so conditioned to react to media with hyperbole. Everything has to be either the best thing ever or an irredeemable failure.
I wish we could have more good-faith criticism & discussions, rather than feeling the need to lambast the people involved.
Finally (*finally*) got around to finishing the rest of Edward’s new faces!
Really going for an “absolutely zero-print lines” code, hence why these take longer😅

Replying to @EdwardKing02
It’s mostly small stuff, but the smoother smokebox end, and using actual 3D printed lamp irons, brake pipe and safety valve make a world of a difference.
Also so happy we have scans of the prop faces to use and print now, though I still need to sand n paint the rest of them.
I’m not gonna bother with paint variants when I do new batches to start for now. My backlog is big enough as is (and I HATE sanding for it messes with my sinuses and hands), so they’ll be bonus material after the main ones.
Here’s some variants I do have planned for future tho:

This may be a controversial take, (and remember this is just my opinion) but I feel that whenever any incarnation of Thomas uses the trope “the smaller engines are little kids and the big engines are adults!”, It totally wrecks the dynamic that made Thomas work
Absolutely blown away with all the detail and the quality of Wilbert; can’t believe almost the entire model is diecast, and yet nothing is left out. Well done Accurascale, another home run!
Also nice coincidence this arrived same day as the 80th anniversary of Thomas’ book :)
Also four other models I’ve gotten between about June or so’ and now that I haven’t posted about. Kinda having a tough time with life in general atm, so you quickly forget to talk about trains :(

Thank you, TidmouthStreetlight!!! 👍✨
Amazing quality on these photos, and please do give this a read regarding them. All I can say, after reading, is ABOUT TIME.

John Bellis and John Hollis in the recording booth. This is the infamous “John Thomas” joke.

It's official everyone! The pre-orders for the book are now starting to go live! The book will go on sale on the 14th September and will be available as hardback, and is already available to pre-order on Barnes and Noble. Due to the amount of colour photos in the book (Over 200 of them) it will be priced at £22.99. Watch this space for more links as they appear. Really looking forward to everyone getting to see this...
I think people take Diesel being here way too literally in-universe.
The Christmas party scenes were meant to be a celebratory “curtain call” of the season with all* the characters on-screen at once.
(*Keeping in mind Daisy was not meant to be in S2 at this point in filming*)
Roses are red
This world is sure random
I am begging the Thomas wikia
To move away from Fandom
I don't like to rant online, but christ, fandom as a wiki host is just so poorly optimized/unusably bad now.
