Last night was an old school ass whooping in Wilkes County, it was exciting from start to finish.
Logano had the best car, SVG leading at North Wilkesboro was wild, I watched him race in the trucks and he's starting to figure out this whole short track oval thing.
Overall, good night.

I was so sharp and so ready for this fight I cannot believe what has happened. The talk of me being off while walking in to the fight is nonsense. I was calm, ready, and confident. I am in shock what has taken place. The devil is literally staring at me right in front of my face here. I am not engaging. I will be at church tomorrow.
I will overcome this.

Richard Childress Racing has elected to suspend use of the No. 8 and will run the No. 33 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and beyond. Kyle Busch was instrumental in the design of RCR’s stylized No. 8 and it has become synonymous with Kyle and an important symbol for his fans and the NASCAR industry. No one can carry it forward to the level that he did. The No. 8 is reserved and ready for Brexton Busch when he is ready to go NASCAR racing.

We are absolutely devastated to hear of the passing of Kyle Busch. One of the most successful drivers in our sports history, and one of the fiercest competitors.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Kyle’s family, everyone at Richard Childress Racing, and the NASCAR Community as a whole.
