I know I’m physically ill in that in a 45 minute nap today I woke myself up twice snoring and managed to dream. Arrrgh. Need to feel better now!

We ‘do’ Halloween every year. People across town drive to our estate to trick or treat. Both kids are out tomorrow so we’re going to sit in the dark, no decorations and not partake tomorrow. I already feel ‘cruel’.

The thing I haven’t really thought about is if the power goes out, I must have hundreds of pounds of freezer food. Frozen leeks, mushrooms, spinach, yorkshires, random fish and meat alternatives (from when Lyla went veggie for a year) for the next few meals then 😩
