I’m not a Reform supporter but this TV interview with a small business owner is spot on. “John Healey - Where’s the breathing space?”. No wonder people are reluctant to start new ventures in the UK. #UKEconomy #SmallBusiness #Disincentives
“Where is my breathing space?” This is how millions of small business owners are feeling up and down the country after Burnham's failure of a budget. A Reform UK government will scrap the tax on overtime, raise the VAT threshold to £150,000 and get our economy growing.

Unbelievable!
‼️ EU governments approved a GDPR change to let companies train AI on Europeans' personal data without consent. It makes AI training a possible "legitimate interest", judged case by case. Parliament must still agree. Max Schrems calls it a "digital expropriation" of Europeans.

Just learned that the iPhone has a “Live Listen” setting that’s turned on by default. This on top of other surveillance features one now has to know about, find and manually switch off. Didn’t Apple used to be the tech choice for #privacy ?

A headline that encapsulates the hypocrisy of the AI juggernaut.

“There were 235 shooting incidents at US schools last year and at least 140 so far this year” But somehow Americans have been convinced that gun ownership is some sort of sacred right. Mind boggling and very sad. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cm89…

Huge amounts of public funds are being spent paying private operators to rent or sell essential parking spaces at Scotland’s hospitals. Great example of how an expediency mindset by one generation of policymakers can expose future citizens to ransom. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cr3w…

In the below case surely the question is who ordered the repeat prescription for this patient? Was it on electronic repeat dispensing (which is usually at request of chemist or patient)?
Replying to @ShaunLintern
This picture below illustrates the problem. These are returned medicines to pharmacy by just one patient and we have plenty more examples across the country. Extending period of treatment to 56 days or 84 days for no clinical reason contributes to medicine wastage and costs the NHS money as none of these returned medicines can be reused. This also contributes to patient safety issues. We have raised concerns with NHSE since months and asked them to issue guidelines to ICBs, but no results yet.
