#EJAE’s acceptance speech receiving a commendation from the Prime Minister at the 17th Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards:
“Hello, this is EJAE. I am truly honored to receive such a prestigious award. Thank you so much.
First of all, I’m so grateful to my family and to all the fans who have continued to stand by my side. And also to the KDH team and Director Maggie, thank you so much.
Above all, today I want to say thank you to Korea. Korea is where I first began to pursue my dream of becoming a singer and songwriter. Here, I learned the value of hard work and the determination not to give up, even in the face of difficulties.
I believe I took that mindset with me to the United States, worked hard, and was able to stand here today.
I am sincerely grateful to Korea for giving me a dream in music and teaching me such valuable lessons. I will continue to repay you with good music. Thank you.”
