Well done to Grace McNally, 3rd year General Nursing @tcddublin student, who travelled to Lourdes this September as part of @theoblates nursing team. Grace was the first recipient of the Kevin McConway Bursary, set up to support nursing students to travel to Lourdes and assist pilgrims. Barry McBrien (lecturer) and Grace were part of the nursing team within the Oblate pilgrimage group. Thanks to @barry_mcbrien and Dr Aileen Lynch for their work on this initiative.

Our colleagues Dr Melissa Corbally, Dr Eleanor Hollywood and Tracey O'Neill were delighted to present at the recent European Conference on Domestic Violence. Dr Corbally was also delighted to be joined by Andrea McDermott, Clinical Manager, @MensAidIreland. 🌍 Pictured are some of our nursing and midwifery students who travelled to Uganda this summer, to undertake placements facilitated by @NurtureAfrica1. The students are gaining experience in outreach clinics which focus on delivering healthcare to local communities. This experience is coordinated by Dr @EleHollywood as part of the Global Health Engagement elective module, open to second and third year nursing and midwifery students.
