Fault. Oven not working. We quickly found the neutral was broken somewhere between the oven and the consumer unit on the other side of the house.
Using specialised cable tracing equipment we located the problem area and cut a hole in the wall to find this. We fixed it ofcourse!
It doesn't matter what day when you are called to help friends and our local primary school. @ElitePandHLtd sorted the leak and @ElectricalAmc isolated the electrics.
Then we both got on with hovering up all the water. Back to school tomorrow kids.........sorry 😛

So just went to quote a job and couldn't reach the CCU to open the flap cover.

Customer wanted me to check the safety of their recently brought property electrical installation. Couple of issues I'd say! TT system with VO ELCB, no CPC throughout lighting circuit either, metallic accessories the list goes on....... 🤔
I got a call to take a lool at some questionable wiring. What isn't shown is the split basic insulation on the earths, or should I say live, then again it's a neutral too!!! 🙄🤢

Fault call out as kitchen sockets not working I find this hidden behind kitchen draw as the wiring method for the kitchen. This served the electric hob, extractor, cabinet lighting and worktop sockets, fridge, freezer etc. 😟🤬
