How much time does your team spend chasing supplier declarations, checking spreadsheets, and updating compliance documentation?
German startup turnus.ai is tackling that problem with agentic AI.
Its platform connects product data, supplier information, and regulatory requirements to help manufacturers monitor changes, assess suppliers, manage compliance data, and prepare customer documentation more efficiently. It can work with ERP exports, BOMs, supplier declarations, spreadsheets, and PDFs, while keeping generated answers traceable back to the original source documents.
The goal is simple: reduce repetitive compliance work around requirements such as REACH, RoHS, PFAS, and conflict minerals, while giving engineering, procurement, and compliance teams a clearer view of product status.
Meet turnus.ai at electronica Fast Forward 2026 in Munich, 10–13 November, in Hall B4, Booth B4.251/8.

What if a bearing could help prevent damage before it happens?
German startup HCP Sense is developing a patented technology that uses the electrical properties of bearings to monitor their condition. Instead of installing electronics inside the bearing, the bearing itself acts as the sensing element.
By measuring electrical impedance, HCP Sense can monitor lubrication conditions and identify changes that may lead to damage.
While conventional vibration-based monitoring typically detects mechanical damage after it has begun, HCP Sense focuses on identifying potential causes earlier, particularly problems with lubrication.
The technology has applications in industrial machinery, maintenance and research. It can help reduce maintenance costs, assess remaining service life and support lubricant testing and machine optimization.

AI is creating a difficult trade-off for embedded-system designers.
More capable models require more computing power, but embedded products still need to remain small, efficient, and affordable.
Swiss semiconductor startup Synthara AG is working on that problem at chip level.
The company develops ComputeRAM, an in-memory computing architecture designed to accelerate AI and other compute-intensive workloads by bringing computation closer to where data is stored.
Reducing the amount of data that has to move between memory and processing units can improve both performance and energy efficiency.
That makes the approach particularly interesting for embedded AI, wearables, smart sensors, robotics, and other applications where power and silicon area are limited.
Rather than simply adding a separate accelerator, Synthara is looking at how existing memory inside a chip can take on a more active role in computation.
We are pleased to have Synthara joining Elektor at electronica 2026.
