When I read the article I immediately realized that all the characteristics the agents described was basically what you'd want for an undetectable one-way attack drone, and about the same size too. Who knows though.

When Joe Bob Briggs hosted Night of the Living Dead on The Last Drive-In, he had an idea that the space probe from Venus that radiated the world was a Soviet Venera probe blown up by the US military. I made some renders of this hypothetical sequence.
