Hey! I got a few new follows so, wanted to reintroduce myself. 💜👋
I’m Eleni. I've worked in games for 10+ years. I help games find their people and have accumulated an unreasonable number of opinions about marketing along the way.
I love video games and turned that into a career across AAA + indie, growth marketing, creators + tech.
I’m also a Women in Games Ambassador, mentor women breaking into games + tech, and remain deeply unwell about Kingdom Hearts.
And when the 9-to-5 ends, there is very often a 5-to-9 because apparently I enjoy creating additional work for myself. 👩💻
Mostly I yell about games, marketing, the creator economy, women in tech + career things I learned the hard way.
Anyway, hi. :) 💜
That was QUICK!! So glad I was able to get early access tickets because WOW, these sold out so much faster than previous years!
Can’t wait to see all my friends and industry colleagues at The Game Awards this year!! And, of course, see everyone’s cute fits. Y’all better SHOW UP. 💅💜
Finally got to meet Kingdom Hearts Goofy and Donald!! 🥹 AND they loved my KH fit!
I don’t know how to explain to normal people how much this means to me…I fear this was a very important moment in my life. 🙈
Realizing now I said this in the wrong order. It's always Donald THEN Goofy. Pls forgive 🙈 #fakefan

This. Showing your track record of completed reviews, previews and unique content outside of let's plays gives multiple brands confidence that you can deliver under embargo or similar.
It's the same thing for tech review hardware, the same for food reviews, and very much the same for lifestyle content. Show them that you can do the thing that you're asking for

I have spent SO much time imagining these characters in my head and seeing Austen bring them to life is genuinely the coolest feeling.

Game dev is so much more fun than i expected???? So ready to start adding @AustenMarieTV’s characters!!

Working with indies is a great way for new and small creators to gain their first experience building relationships with brands

Incredibly thankful to Kotaku and Ash for talking to me about this. I love Jackbox, and I'm really hurt they'd do something like this.

My millennial heart 🥹 Huge hats off to the team behind this
I don’t mean this to sound petty AT ALL, but sometimes I wonder how frustrating it must be to treat someone terribly, only to watch them become hotter, kinder, happier, more loved, and more successful. Like genuinely, I get it. I’d be sick too.
LAST GREECE POST I PROMISE.
But how could I not post about getting to see my girl Ashley?! California game industry girlies somehow reunited in GREECE of all places. 💜
Had the absolute best time exploring Athens together. Miss you already bb!!
Back from Greece!! 🇬🇷
As much as I LOVE being there, I’m genuinely so excited to be home. I came back feeling incredibly creatively inspired and ready to hit the ground running. So many ideas, so many things I want to build. 😭
Next up: TwitchCon, GamesBeat + The Game Awards!
Can’t wait to see everyone!! 💜
Sometimes I forget how much freedom I've worked to create for myself. Little moments where I realize I actually really like the life I'm building.
