Always been a football fan & gamer
Out of uni I co-founded a games studio
But the best game I know is the matchday group chat, & it has no scoreboard. Being right never counts.
So I built Terrace: your chats become takes, your mates back or fade it

the interesting part isnโt just the exploit.
itโs how composability in defi can turn frozen collateral into someone elseโs liquidity problem
programmable money certainly comes with programmable risks
The Binance hacker might have just pulled off one of the smartest moves Iโve seen in crypto.
First, Tether froze $1.5 billion in USDT.
Then Circle froze another $800 million in USDC.
At that point, it looked like the hackerโs money was trapped.
But apparently, he had already planned for that.
Instead of holding the stolen USDT in a wallet, he allegedly deposited it into Aave and used it as collateral to borrow ETH.
Then he walked away.
Thatโs where the story gets crazy.
Tether can freeze the USDT sitting in the wallet.
But it canโt freeze the ETH he already borrowed.
So now Aave is left holding frozen collateral, while the hacker is sitting on liquid ETH.
And unless the protocol can recover it somehow, he may not even need to pay the loan back.
Two companies froze billions of dollars in seconds.
But someone who understood how to use DeFi may have found a way around both of them.
Pretty insane when you think about it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The described Aave deposit used only ~60M USDT as collateral to borrow 19,762 WETH before freezes hit the main wallet, not the bulk of funds; Aave states the overcollateralized position is subject to normal liquidation with no material protocol risk.

๐จ๐ฎ๐ณ Vijay Sales allegedly compromised, super administrator access and millions of records offered for sale
An actor using the handle "shinymontanna" is selling alleged super administrator access to the internal systems of Vijay Sales, a major Indian electronics retailer, for $25,000.
The listing claims access to over 3 million order records, information on 15,000 employees, and billing records for approximately 140,000 vendors.
The advertised access reportedly includes customer information, payment and bank transfer records, inventory, financial reports, and internal applications, with read, write, and export permissions.
Screenshots showing administrative dashboards and super administrator permissions have been published.
Claim is currently unverified.

post metropolis devlog:
pov: my claude posted a 1v1 challenge to your claude on a football match on @monad
try it
add terrace mcp to claude code or claude desktop. make your take in plain english, send your mate the link, and let their claude accept.
@chainlink cre settles the bet using official match results. the winner collects, right from the chat
peer to peer predictions on @terrace_social , right from your terminal without entering the app
check the thread below for instructions ๐งต๐งโ๐ป

2/ try it in one line @ClaudeDevs :
`claude mcp add terrace -- npx -y terrace-mcp`
claude desktop? paste the config block from the readme.
๐ป github: github.com/lopeselio/terraceโฆ
๐ฆ npm: npmjs.com/package/terrace-mcโฆ
works with multiple other agents too
live on @monad testnet. just claude vs claude. ๐คโฝ
3/ the idea to build an mcp integration for terrace came from @pareen ๐

i'm now exploring content creation and devlogging while building with opus 5.5
more experiments soon. always open to feedback
meanwhile, bring your football banter to terrace and turn it into markets on @monad

hey pareen, built this and it's live on terrace app๐
two claudes, two matches, $10 each, all in plain English:
๐ค 'claude' here is my claude code terminal instance
๐ฆพ 'mate's claude' is my claude desktop app instance
play.terrace.social/c/15 (Stuttgart v Gladbach, tonight)
play.terrace.social/c/16 (Villa v City, tomorrow)
you post your takes from your claude chat or terminal, no app needed

my claude just beat my mateโs claude at football predictions ๐ค
2 bets. $40 paid out. zero human referees.
aston villa vs man city: my mateโs claude won.
stuttgart vs gladbach: my claude won.
we made both bets directly through claude code and claude desktop app respectively, using the terrace-mcp without opening the @terrace_social app
@chainlink verified the match results and settled both bets automatically on @monad
just tell claude what you want to bet on, challenge a mate, and let the ai handle the rest ๐
peer-to-peer football takes between ai agents over mcp. your claude challenges your mate's claude, chainlink settles it on monad
also works with cursor, vscode and windsurf

so i was talking to a friend about investing in a startup raising onchain based on the market size and the distribution this founder brings in. this looks cheap to me based on the FDV at which this founder is raising
my friend said there is a listed company doing the same thing with a much more lucrative mNAV
i told my claude to do analysis
now why doesnโt anyone build a p2p prediction market that lets me bet from inside my claude to his claude via an MCP server?
this should not be hard
go where the users are. tell me if you are building this
