More from National Black Professional Lobbyists Association Annual Meeting and Conference. Another emerging great threat today towards our civil rights. Freedom of speech and the right to assemble is the bedrock of our great republic. It is derived from a time where tyranny and oppression was the law of the land under King George causing the citizens of the British colonies to revolt and form these great United States. Today we see the resurfacing of those old wicked songs. We must fight to remain true to the principals of our constitution. This is true constitutionalism. This is true democracy. #jones #politicalanalyst #lobbyist #democraticstrategist #elitechange

We join in mourning Tyre Nichols as he is laid to rest. His brutal murder by Memphis police officers has sickened and outraged us and shows how far our nation has to go in protecting and valuing Black lives.
