Friend's older brother circa 2002-2004 let me play this RTS game he had on his family PC which was like it was running multiple map battles & management at once. It was an isometric perspective kinda like StarCraft. All 2d art, no models. Never been able to find it.

When Will Ferrell and Jeff Goldblum went live with SNL's "Space: The Infinite Frontier with Harry Caray" sketch, the first part was scripted and on cue cards for both actors, but halfway through, Ferrell started improv'ing insane questions and you can see Goldblum holding on for dear life answering them 😂 I forget how good this era of SNL really was

In WW2, when enemy snipers were captured, instead of being taken prisoner, they were typically executed on the spot.
This is due to the psychological fear and frustration caused by snipers. They were seen as less honorable than regular infantry, and were seen as operating outside of “honorable” rules of conflict.
If a captured enemy was caught with a scoped rifle, the Geneva convention was ignored and the man was killed on the spot.
I can’t imagine what happens to drone operators today when they get captured.
