#MSNews | The Senate, through the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG), has filed its comment on the petition seeking to annul the ruling that lowered the voting threshold for convicting Vice President Sara Duterte. The filing complies with the Supreme Court’s (SC) resolution directing the upper chamber of Congress, sitting as an impeachment court, to comment on the petition and the application for a status quo ante order (SQAO) and/or temporary restraining order (TRO), as well as a writ of preliminary injunction (WPI). SENATE ELECTORAL TRIBUNAL: Justice and fairness went out of the window when three minority senator-members voted in favor of an out-of-time motion for reconsideration filed by a petitioner without legal standing. Their motive may be deeper than personal issues against Sen Tulfo.
