October 24, 2021, the day I uploaded my first solo Beatle ranking. Four years later, and I’ve officially completed all four rankings. These videos are the tent poles of my channel and I’m proud of how much joy they’ve given people over the years. Now, on to what comes next…

As someone who makes YouTube videos for a living, my favourite compliment I receive is on the quality of my editing (the pace, the humour, the music supervision). Why the hell would I ever want to give up the joy of that process “to get more work done”? Uncreative bottom-feeder.
Is editing "the old way" gone forever? ... yeah

Rest in peace, Phil McDonald! 🩷 He was a wonderful engineer who worked with The Beatles, John Lennon and Yoko Ono and passed away today.

I adored my experience in The Beatles Story Museum in 2022. Can’t wait to see what it’ll look like with the full support of Apple and their archives in 2028!
The Beatles are on their way home, and The Beatles Story is changing. A new immersive Beatles experience is opening in the heart of Liverpool. Opening 2028. Find out more and register your interest at beatlesstory.com/news/liverp… #TheBeatlesLiverpool28 @thebeatles

Are we villainizing whales now? Whalefall seems like a horrible concept for a film. Absolutely the last thing we need is for people to be scared of whales.

Ahh so a posh airline’s okay but when it’s on Pinterest suddenly it’s *illegal* (This is satire, love you Mike)
Many years ago, when I got to fly on posh airlines, one of my early photos came up on their tely👌I think it was a Ron Howard film👍🏼

This always makes me go insane because the John and Paul in Nowhere Boy were virtually the same height (the Paul character was just more skinny). Whereas the literal official Beatles biopics have John as several inches taller than Paul!!
PAUL BITCHING ABOUT NOWHERE BOY IN THE BIG 2026 THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME

Okay never mind, he's also pissed about the height discrepancy in the biopics nitter.cf/thenightbethore/status…
the idea of paul being flabbergasted when harris big ass walks into the room

Paul McCartney does not allow himself to tear up on camera (it's been decades since we've seen him nearly lose composure like this). And for the reason to be about Linda... Suffice it to say, this is very special to me ❤️
Paul McCartney gets EMOTIONAL talking to Amy Poehler about his late wife Linda McCartney, remembering her LOVE for animals and how STRONG she was ❤️🔥 “She was something else, though lady”

Why are people hating on The Word? It’s got some of Ringo’s best drumming up until that point in the Beatles’ career. There’s the cascading multi-part harmonies, the glimpse into the ‘love is all you need’ era, plus the fact that John and Paul wrote it stoned. Fabulous song.

I believe this is our first sighting of Pete Best. Still don’t know the name of the actor playing him though!
🔴New video of Joseph Quinn, Paul Mescal and Harris Dickinson shooting ‘The Beatles’ biopics in Liverpool ! 🤍

I mean, I can see the resemblance but Allan Williams was 30-years-old when he managed the Beatles. Adrian Scarborough is blatantly a 58-year-old man.

Based off my previous post, people have a lot of opinions about the new mix of Rubber Soul! Now, I’d like to get a further consensus by polling you all: Do you like the new mix? You can discuss your preferred version (mono, 2009 remaster, 2026 mix) in the comments
90%Yes I like it

The new Rubber Soul Special Edition is finally out. Putting aside the bonus material, I’d like to hear from people who *don’t* like the new mix. Or perhaps any of the recent Giles Martin mixes. Do you like some and not others? Why? And please provide specific reasons. Thank you!

Some of the criticisms confuse me. There is clear instrumental and vocal separation and yet some people think the mixes still sound ‘muddy’ or ‘compressed’. Is it just a lack of sonic vocabulary here or can someone elucidate this further?

AI music is uninteresting/bad because it isn’t made by humans w/ emotion & intent. People make music because of something inside they want to express which translates to listeners connecting with that expression. Being into AI music is like enjoying watching computers play chess.
I am not joking when I say this. Spotify, Apple Music, and streaming in general is over. AI music is now very, very good. You just don't know yet because all AI music circulating today is from ~2-3 generations ago. Suno v6 pro et al has solved infinite personalized music.

Man, comparing these early Beatles biopics set photos to these recent ones, it’s clear Joseph Quinn has lost quite a bit of weight in the process of playing George. Production wouldn’t have made him do this but he sure seems committed to the malnourished-Harrison look.

RIP Peter Max, who defined the look of the '60s with his psychedelic artwork.
