Is this so they can understand commands when they’re about to die in the meat grinder?
Proud to announce that students in England will be able to study Ukrainian at GCSE. It’s a chance for pupils to explore Ukraine’s rich culture and history and, for the Ukrainian community to remain connected to their heritage. This is another step in our enduring support for Ukraine as part of the 100 Year Partnership 🇺🇦🇬🇧

Flooded the country with Chinese made cars and goods then has the temerity to preach about climate leadership… 🤡
Britain’s international climate leadership is backed by strong action at home. The Energy Independence Bill is vital to that effort. Delivering warmer homes, lower bills and energy security through clean power we control, and legislating for no new oil and gas licences. This is what leadership on climate and the clean energy transition looks like. gov.uk/government/news/energ…

Went to Wickes this morning, the travellers have pitched up in their caravans again. Reminded me of this from pretty much this time last year... 😂 youtu.be/PhueuSfbb4w

So grateful to @UKLabour Emma Reynolds for letting me know I’m not a working person given I employ my 16 year old son who’s a month or so into his apprenticeship. Retired at 56 - absolutely mint that . 😂 @EmmaforWycombe 🤡

The timing is impeccable - just like thousands of other small business owners I'm just sitting down on a Sunday to do my now quarterly tax returns that were introduced under this government.

Really was a legend from my hometown - Sad news
All at Huddersfield Town are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of lifelong supporter Sir Patrick Stewart. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this sad time. A titan of his craft and a legend and hero to millions worldwide, his legacy will live on. Fiercely proud of his Yorkshire roots, Sir Patrick was a Terrier in every sense, and we’re proud to have counted him as one of our own. Once a Terrier, always a Terrier 💙 #htafc

Reposting in light of yesterday’s budget from @JohnHealey_MP Fyi. The full time Electrical Installation course at Kirklees college had 75 on the WAITING list. In my son’s level 3 Elec Installation course there are maybe 12 students? So half a class full.
Let’s talk about the youth unemployment crisis @andyburnham

Ai is such a useful tool - but it is legitimately threatening jobs - grok created this for me in a few seconds from a few simple prompts and the OG photo. Are you an Ai fan or sceptic?

Vicious, destructive, dishonest taxation. The Labour way. Socialism will never work.
Update: In the 27 months since Labour came to power, we've seen; • Employer National Insurance increased from 13.8% to 15%. • The employer NI threshold cut from £9,100 to £5,000. • The freeze on Income Tax and National Insurance thresholds extended to 2031. • Capital Gains Tax increased from 10% and 20% to 18% and 24%. • Business Asset Disposal Relief increased from 10% to 14%, then 18% – and now its lifetime limit halved to £500,000. • Investors’ Relief raised to 18% and its lifetime limit cut from £10 million to £1 million. • CGT relief on sales to Employee Ownership Trusts halved. • Carried interest taxation increased and moved into the Income Tax regime. • Dividend tax rates increased by two percentage points. • Savings-income tax rates increased by four percentage points. • Property-income tax rates increased by four percentage points. • VCT income tax relief cut from 30% to 20%. • Most unused pension funds brought into the Inheritance Tax net. • Agricultural and Business Property Relief capped. • Inheritance Tax thresholds frozen until 2031. • The non-dom regime replaced with a tougher residence-based system. • VAT imposed on private school fees. • Business-rates relief removed from private schools. • The Stamp Duty surcharge on second homes and buy-to-let raised from 3% to 5%. • The Furnished Holiday Lettings regime abolished. • A new annual surcharge on homes worth £2 million or more. • Pension salary-sacrifice NI relief capped at £2,000 a year. • The bank surcharge doubled. • Capital allowances for plant and machinery cut twice. • Online gaming duty almost doubled. • The Energy Profits Levy increased and extended, and its investment allowance scrapped. • Vaping Products Duty brought in and tobacco duties increased above inflation. • Vehicle Excise Duty increased for many new cars, with electric vehicles brought in. • A pay-per-mile tax on electric and plug-in hybrid cars legislated for 2028. • Air Passenger Duty increased. • Making Tax Digital extended to more landlords and self-employed people. Together they represent one of the biggest transfers of wealth from households and businesses to the Treasury in decades – with little to show for it in public services. Whether you're a business owner employing staff, a parent paying school fees, a farmer planning succession, an entrepreneur building wealth or simply someone trying to save for your family’s future... - You keep less of what you earn. - You keep less of what you invest. - You leave less for your family. Death by a thousand cuts.

You wouldn't think so would you.. Cheaper for who?
Clean Power is here to stay. Because cleaner power is cheaper power. Solar and wind are 75% cheaper than fossil fuels.

Synthetic Petrol.. I'd imagine it would be cheaper to produce than dragging oil out of the ground, boiling it in a massive distillery, and could be made closer to the point of sale, should there be the will..

1. Don't vote Labour - ever. 👊🤣
🚨Ahead of the Budget, Andy Burnham has announced 5 new everyday fixes to make your life easier.
13
This should in theory raise 100's of Millions in tax take - but of course - it won't because sadly people will be displaced from their jobs as a result - but make no mistake, that's the reason @UKLabour want to increase the minimum wage.
🚨 NEW: John Healey will increase the minimum wage for over 21s from £12.71 to around £13.20

Europe doesn't of course. It's not European young men being slaughtered on the front line in a war where we all know what the outcome will be. At least the weapons mfrs are making a dollar though, eh?
Europe stands united with Ukraine. Their front line for freedom is our front line for freedom. We will be with you for as long as it takes.
