These are all the component parts of the book, waiting to be magically combined into a single volume. All being well I should have a copy in my hands within two weeks. It's been a long journey, but look how gorgeous this is going to be...

Glass of Elsa, anyone?

I'm spending today - Elsa's 124th birthday - replying to every mention of her with a plug for my book. Apologies to anyone I reply to twice!

A new four-issue comic-book sequel to Bride of Frankenstein. Elsa lives!

Here's an Elsa Lanchester birthday treat from my new book: a never-before-seen photo of 28-year-old Elsa as 12-year-old Winnie Marble in Payment Deferred (and a more grown-up portrait from the programme). Pre-orders for the the limited edition close soon. fabpress.com/elsa-lanchester…

Although there are over 200 great images in my book, you won't find this one or any from Elsa's Disney films. It's a rule of publishing that there are three types of images you never use in print if you want to avoid a visit from legal gorillas: Disney, Godzilla and Star Trek.

If you're in Northern Ireland this week you can catch a double bill of Frankenweenie and Bride of Frankenstein at the Uster Museum on Friday.

Kudos to this lady dressed as the Bride in a video of New York Comic Con cosplay.

It has just been drawn to my attention that the mighty @RealGDT, a man who knows a thing or two about Frankenstein movies, reposted the announcement of my book. Thank you so much, sir! Please DM if you would like a copy.

101 copies of the special edition (signed + page edging) have sold so far. The print run on this version will be pre-orders plus a limited number available only from the fabpress.com website or stall at film events. Only pre-orders get £10 off so reserve yours now.

Amazing new technology enables us to print a 'film strip' of Elsa portraits around all three side of the book. This is only available on the limited edition signed version available direct from fabpress.com. Discounted pre-orders will close soon, so hurry!

Please share and enjoy this fantastic video of Elsa clips that @FAB_Press have put together to promote Bride of the Hunchback. youtu.be/MBIjQldoHeY?si=BLIh…

Somewhat odd publicity still for Pajama Party which (a) I've never seen before and (b) gives a completely misleading idea what sort of film it is. Looks like some weird art film!

I find other people's dreams very boring, but I just want to record here that last night I dreamt someone had pointed out a film, not mentioned in my book, that Elsa was entirely cut from but you could still see the back of her head in one brief shot. I was weirdly calm.

Unexpected Elsa sighting! 80s duo Wax are one of my fave bands but I had never before seen this alternate American video for their song 'Shadows of Love' (director: Storm Thorgerson). The band perform in front of cut-outs of Hollywood icons - and there's Frankie and the Bride!

All right, then. Who wants a six-foot animated LED Bride of Frankenstein? A snip at 550 quid. youtu.be/ntWJjMlxwTU?si=Z_T2…
