Not surprised by this Romeo Lavia masterclass. Not even one bit.
With him, it was never a question of ability or performances. It was always about the injuries.
If this man can stay healthy, he’s genuinely one of the very best around.
You cannot sack Michael Carrick.
The number of times he’s been let down is actually ridiculous. Carrick has shown more than enough times that he’s a good coach.
But some of these players have been at the club for years despite clearly not being good enough for this level.
At some point, you have to stop blaming the manager for everything.
Elversberg just put 4 past Mainz, and the goalscorers are 23, 19, 21 and 20 years old.
Currently sitting 5th in the Bundesliga as a newly promoted side from the 2. Bundesliga.
Vincent Wagner is doing wonders with this team. What a story.
Shoutout to those Eintracht Frankfurt fans who insulted Wahi so badly that they even claimed he shouldn’t be anywhere near professional football.
You guys genuinely don’t know ball.
So happy to see my guy proving some of you wrong.
Elye Wahi is far from being a bad footballer.
Yes, the numbers from the past two seasons may look underwhelming, but they don’t tell the full story.
He’s had to settle into new environments, new roles, and new expectations in a short space of time.
For anyone who’s followed him since his Montpellier days and at France youth level, the talent has never been in doubt. From 2021-2023, he was one of the most productive young strikers around, registering 36 G/A and earning a deserved step up to RC Lens in their Champions League era.
He delivered there too.
The Marseille move came quickly after, and since then his rise has dipped slightly, but that doesn’t diminish the profile.
Not a wasted talent.
Just a player who needs time, continuity, and trust.
Let players grow.
This brother… 😮💨
My guy Aleksey Batrakov has developed exceptionally well.
He’s now playing in an extremely demanding environment where top performance is required every three days, week in, week out. And at just 21 years old, he’s handling it brilliantly.
One of Galatasaray’s most important players in attack, which says a lot when you look at the names they have on paper.
Constantly looking to receive between the lines, making intelligent movements into free pockets of space, whether in the half-spaces or more centrally. Exceptionally secure in tight passing combinations, with great vision and timing when it comes to releasing the ball.
His importance to Galatasaray’s attacking play goes far beyond goals and assists. So much of what he does helps attacks develop and creates opportunities for others.
Such a valuable player. Really impressive development so far.
Saad Boussadia (18, 🇩🇿) is a baller you have to know about.
A left-footed No. 10 with plenty of flexibility to his game, thriving when given the freedom to roam into the right half-space and express himself.
Protects the ball really well under physical pressure against players in his age group. Quick feet in 1v1 situations, allowing him to beat his man and open up spaces.
Really like how he looks to combine with his teammates through quick one-twos, never afraid to take his man on and try to make something happen.
The Algerian talent coming through Lille’s academy looks very promising.
Edouard von Brandt-Etchemendigaray.
Just scored against Clermont Foot in the UEFA Youth League. A huge talent coming through Legia Warsaw’s U19s.
The left winger scored 12 goals in 14 games last season and already has 9 G/A in 12 appearances this season.
An absolute output machine.
Polish football is on the rise, I’m telling you. Keep a close eye on the talent coming through over there in the next few years.
What makes Edo’s story even more interesting is his background. He also has French roots and was born in Italy.
🇵🇱🇫🇷🇮🇹
Time to give Ernest Muci his flowers. (It’s long overdue.)
Always been a very talented player, but since joining Trabzonspor, he’s been moving differently.
One of their best players last season, and he’s already on 8 G/A in 11 games this season, continuing to make his presence felt in front of goal.
Such a creative attacker. Incredibly tidy on the ball, with close control, quick feet and real security in his passing. Can carry the ball through the lines, drive into open spaces and has a great strike on him too.
There’s so much to like about his game.
Trabzonspor have a squad full of exciting talents this season, and Muci is definitely one of them.
Keep an eye on Berkay Aslan.
Turkey are desperately searching for a new striker, and the 19-year-old has now scored 2 goals in his last 3 games for Bodrumspor.
With Sergen Yalcin coming in as the new national team coach, I’m hoping he’ll be willing to try something different rather than keep calling up the same players who seem to be there mainly because they’re good for the dressing room atmosphere.
Time to give some fresh faces a chance.
Keep this name on your list. Berkay Aslan.
My guy Aleksey Batrakov has developed exceptionally well.
He’s now playing in an extremely demanding environment where top performance is required every three days, week in, week out. And at just 21 years old, he’s handling it brilliantly.

Such a valuable player. Really impressive development so far.
Junior Olaitan appreciation post, he’s genuinely been one of Besiktas’ best players recently.
Such a dynamic midfielder.
He loves receiving between the lines, driving forward with smooth ball carries, and crashing the box. The energy and work rate he plays with is unbelievable, the exact type of pressing midfielder every team needs.
Only 24 years old.
Clubs across Europe’s top-five leagues should have him high on their target lists. 🇧🇯
Trabzonspor are reaping the rewards now.
Franculino already has 9 G/A in just 8 games in his new surroundings.
Superstar levels.
Tiago Araujo is such a baller for KAA Gent, man.
He contributes so much to the attack from the left wing-back role. His vision from wide areas is exceptional, and he can spot tiny gaps in central areas to play well-weighted, defense-splitting passes.
Plus, he's always making those penetrating runs in behind to stretch the opposition defense, which is so important for opening up space.
Already sitting on 10 G/A in 17 games as a wing-back.
Those numbers are genuinely ridiculous. 🇵🇹
Real Sociedad’s backline averages just 21.75 years of age, yet they currently sit 5th in La Liga.
That’s seriously impressive.
Bro, Fares Ghedjemis, are you mad?
How does Algeria keep producing flair players like him? They’ve only just introduced Mo Belloumi to the masses, and now Ghedjemis is balling out in one of Europe’s top leagues too.
A chance creation machine. Magical left foot, can beat his man, incredibly tidy on the ball and technically so gifted. Just a joy to watch.
Algeria have so many quality options at right wing now that I genuinely don’t know how they’re going to fit all these ballers into one team.
Absolutely stacked in that position.
What a time to be an Algeria fan. 🇩🇿
