being 30/being a zillennial is really starting to fuck with me recently i keep finding myself saying "that was 15/18 years ago" in conversation, and i keep meeting people who weren't even alive or were in diapers during my childhood and our cultural bases are so fundamentally different a guy told me he'd never seen pokemon, digimon or yugioh because they were before his time i found out that someone i knew when they were like 5 is having kids now i keep hearing about all these youtubers from 2013-2017 as being fundamental parts of peoples childhoods and i have no idea who they are its very unsettling...
