JUST NOW: Arizona House & Senate Democrats pass a state budget stopping data center tax giveaways for 3 years. Arizona now has the toughest moratorium in the nation. We also stopped the Republicans from kicking off 40,000 people from AHCCCS.

I also want to give a huge shout out to the everyday Arizonans who showed up and spoke out to fight for this. Thank you to the People First Economy Coalition — this wouldn’t have happened without you.
Thank you former Secretary Julian Castro @JulianCastro for investing in the futures of Arizonans by investing in ACE. It was an amazing opportunity to meet you and your team to discuss our plans for this election year - we are going to accomplish so much together! @LatinoCommFdn

States, communities, & families greatly benefit from DACA. DACA has helped 800,000 young people finish school, apply for a work permit, & be protected from detention & deportation. Ending DACA will harm millions of people.

Coming together to identify the issues in our communities is always the first step to create a better future for all. There’s still lots of work to be done for immigration but moments like these help us build a pathway to citizenship for all 🦋 El Pueblo unido…
