Back on the Path | An Analysis of the Witcher 3 Remaster | Pt.8

I’m reading @orsonscottcard’s new collection of short stories #EndersTribe and I’ve unironically gotten editor notes almost exactly like this for Jovian Abyss.
I died laughing reading this passage. It really spoke to me.
Hjalmar is the better short-term leader, especially in the aftermath of war and with clans on the verge fracturing. They need a strong, warrior-leader to unite behind.
But Cerys is the better long-term leader, achieving sustainability and true independence from the continent's resources for the first time.
Hjalmar maintains a crumbling status-quo; Cerys builds a future where Skellige becomes great. I pick Cerys every time.
(though, Svanrige actually pulls it off and becomes an excellent choice too)

The DCU so far:
Creature Commandos- Nobody watched it
Superman- Made no profit actually lost money
Peacemaker Season 2- Degenerate failure
Supergirl- Total bomb, lost lots of money
Lanterns- Actually hated, only loved by immoral people
Clayface- Terrible, might lose money

Uh oh.
Basement IQ Jimmy here is moving the goal posts as Clayface's opening weekend is weak AF.
Let's once again remind Dory Brain here that Clayface's likely "technical" success does not mean it will be a success.
The day is coming, Jimmy. I'm keeping m receipts.
R u?

Gunntard propaganda machine is lying to you.
Clayface is not good:
- the horror aspect is laughable and cheap
- if they didn't call it Gotham every 5 mins, you wouldn't know it
- Matt Hagan is a simp, and until the end he is framed as just in his actions
Standard DCU slop.

Rachel wrote my review for me here lol.
Street Fight is terrible but I loved every second of it. My only major disappointment was the amount of Guile’s screen time. We needed more of him.
So #streetfighter had a lot of issues, and yet, it was extremely fun. I went in expecting an objectively bad movie but a subjectively great experience and that’s exactly what I got. Please excuse me while I simultaneously cringe at the writing and bop along to the music!
