Tesla Roadste FACTS: Lots of BS on the internet about the Tesla Roadster:  Here are the facts and a look inside it: This is a good detailed summary, and most importantly ACCURATE (unlike much of the "internet" BS): youtube.com/watch?v=4cHOlvcq… For "a look under the hood" this is quite good, though the "Limey" is a bit muffled and insufferable at times: youtube.com/watch?v=22rvpUec…

Unfortunately, all the Chinese tips, including the "good" & "reputable" ones, all heat up slower and output less heat than the original JBCs. Some are still quite usable though.

"Hi @elonmusk @engineering ,X's link preview feature auto-inserts images from the target page (fallback scanning when no twitter:card tags), without any indicator that it's X-generated—not the poster's upload. Many average users assume it's part of the original post, leading to confusion/annoyance (as seen in ongoing complaints). This doesn't align with maximal truth-seeking. A tiny, truthful fix: Append a label like 'X inserted preview image' or 'Auto-generated from link' right on the card, clickable to a help page explaining the process (crawl, fallback image selection, etc.).X evolves constantly— this small transparency tweak would build more trust without killing engagement. Happy to discuss details if helpful. Thanks for considering!" nitter.cf/Endreshazam

If yes wins big, I'll tag @elonmusk with the results for a real Vox Populi poll! What do you think?

The USB function is in firmware. In ST the entire USB is in silicon.

Video from last year shows an incident in Goose Creek where a semi truck hauling an M109 howitzer on a lowboy trailer caught on rail tracks, triggering a violent collision that spun the artillery piece. @pati_marins64

The obvious: The battery has lower internal resistance, therefore more current instantly available. Note that there is a much larger issue here: "blind men describing an elephant". The test equipment and measurement methodologies are, shall we say generously, lacking and underwhelming *. Even though ostensibly this is a simple measurement of a DC voltage, at the instant of loading the power source there are many factors acting on the power (voltage and current), obscured by the measurement methods. So... What is the power On/ Off switching FET on your PCB again? Now that you have threaded binding posts on the PCB to connect the Battery Pack, what is the conductor thickness & length of the wire used to interconnect them to the Battery Pack and what is interconnection of the wires to the Battery Pack? It seems you have all the parts, including the motors, so connect all the motors using the actual wire harnesses (thickness, length & connectors) to your PCB and toggle the FET to conduct while monitoring your current sense resistor with the 'scope. This will give you a decent representation of the inrush current at initial power-on. I'll comment further after examining the FET's data sheet. Note that when there are expected assorted random transients on the power supply for a product, either from external or internal causes, protections have to be "built-in". Just like people, protect the "brain" above all, because if it is incapacitated, the rest doesn't matter. So I always had power protection at the uC & separately at the Memory as close as possible (an electrolytic shunted with a Zener) & Isolated with a Schottky diode, on the power supply lines. The tc for the memory was longer than >>> 2 resets of the uC. So for automotive OEMs the power to the memory would stay above reset for ~ 20 seconds and the one for the uC ~ 10 seconds if the power was interrupted. Not milli or micro, but seconds due to the weird power glitches on the "12 V" electrical system. In your case it may be rather larger and shorter for the entire "brain" Jetson module. * Generally, when measuring things, the "rule of thumb" is that the measurement equipment should be 10x better than the property being measured & that the measurement should not affect the circuit being measured. It seems in your past measurements it was the exact opposite, the measurement "set up" was only a fraction of the circuit being measured.

"Account based in" is WRONG 40%+ of the time. I blocked real people because of it. Add a WARNING in the popup or KILL the feature until it’s accurate. This is a trust failure. Fix it. @X → main platform account @Safety → X’s safety/policy team @elonmusk → owner (he responds to viral complaints)

Since most "posters" are air heads, I thought I might ask someone with a functioning brain: you. 1) Whom is being reference here? 2 ) Why is it so prevalent that not only people, but also organizations, post shit without a few words of basic ID or reference on X ?

Also, for Samsung/Android, go to Settings, Legal information, Legal, Health and Safety Information, select language, RF Signals: "Specific absorption rate Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) certification establishes a minimum recommended distance from a person’s body for safe operation of RF-emitting devices. Body-worn operations are restricted to belt-clips, holsters or similar accessories that have no metallic component in the assembly and must provide at least 1.5 cm (3/4 in.) separation between the device and the user's body. Samsung’s Wireless Power Sharing feature allows device-to-device charging without the need for a charger. If your device supports the wireless charging or power sharing functions, this equipment should be operated with a minimum distance of 20 cm (8 in.) between the device and your body. SAR distances for specific mobile devices: Tablet, Note and PC: 0 mm Watch: Face SAR distance: 10 mm Phone: 15 mm Foldable: 15 mm"
