Guys, stop giving ladies money before they come visiting. Any babe that's not capable of using her money for transport to visit you does not deserve to be in a relationship. What she needs is a job that can foot her bills. Am I making sense?

Honestly I missed my blue app. X is very stingy with everything both algorithms and followers. The type of viral post I have gotten here since I joined X, it it was on Facebook my followers will be in thousands.

Before you quit, look at how far you've come. Consider what it would take to get back to this level in terms of time, energy, and resources. Unless you're ready to give up on that dream entirely, don't quit.

Know this: As a working-class single lady, your earning power is not necessarily your selling point to a man, and you shouldn't make it one. If a man is attracted to you primarily because of your earnings, he may not be the right man for you. "He is a hardworking man." "He is well-to-do." That's how a man is typically introduced to a woman for a potential match. "She is a good girl." "She is beautiful and decent." "She is feminine and from a decent background." That's how a woman is typically introduced to a man for a potential match. Our roles are different, and so are our responsibilities. Know your selling point and channel your strengths accordingly.

In our African settings, a woman is not saddled with the responsibility of provision in marriage. Therefore, her earnings may hold little significance to a man in his quest to find a wife. A woman's earnings should neither attract a man nor influence his decision to choose her, except he is lazy or plans to depend on her. Her earnings have never been, and should never be, her selling point. There are other qualities she could develop alongside her financial strength that would make her more marketable to a man. Some of these women have underlying issues they've refused to address while depending on their financial or earning power to market themselves. Also, the corporate world may have exposed some of them too much, sometimes to their detriment. Most of them pitch too high because of their early exposure to the corporate world. Some aren't smart enough to switch between their formal and romantic roles. They're mostly stuck in their formal roles, making it difficult for them to build romantic relationships. There's also the issue of gaps in knowledge and exposure. Some may have acquired so much formal training that they've become overly analytical, recognising patterns and reading through a man at a glance. They also tend to attract men higher up the corporate ladder who, in most cases, don't marry them because those men may already be married. It's a whole lot, but her earnings are a borrowed course.

Almost everyone on X thinks they’re smarter than everyone else. Why? Social media is not real life. Some people who sound intelligent online are completely different in reality.

If someone spread a damaging lie about you but nobody believed your side of the story, would you keep defending yourself or let time reveal the truth?

A Yahoo boy in my area rented a two-bedroom apartment for his parents and told everyone he was taking care of them. One day, his father asked him for ₦20,000 for hospital bills. He shouted, “Daddy, I pay your rent, buy your food, and pay your electricity bills. What else do you want?” His father quietly said, “I only asked for money to treat my illness.” The boy replied, “If you people had trained me to become a doctor, I wouldn’t be doing Yahoo today!”😭 His father looked at him and said, “We trained you to become an engineer. You dropped out because you wanted to get rich overnight.” The boy got angry, collected the house keys, and told his parents to leave. Three days later, EFCC arrested him. The person who reported him? His father🙆🏼‍♀️

Mehn, lately I haven’t really been active on X. I’m wondering how I stopped becoming active overnight. I barely post more than one daily and barely even have time to engage my mutuals. I need my spark back mehn. 😭

Posting content every day is honestly tiring, especially on X. If you miss a day, it feels like you’re starting all over again the next day, as though you’re carrying over a course. I don’t know how they designed the algorithm, but it’s honestly poor. The truth is, you cannot keep chasing numbers every day. You’re going to be here for months, perhaps years, so you might as well do your thing naturally. Whether your post gets thousands of views, 100 views, or just 50 views, keep going at your own pace. You don’t have to post every time. If you don’t have anything to say, join existing conversations. There has been a lot of buzz on the timeline over the past few days, so you can engage with those conversations. You don’t necessarily have to create original content every single day. Sometimes, joining a conversation is enough. Stop putting yourself under pressure to chase numbers…
A few weeks ago, I almost lost my motivation to keep posting on X. I was spending hours creating content, replying to people and trying to grow my account. Some posts reached thousands of people. Others barely got noticed. And I started asking myself whether all that effort was worth it. Then something changed. I stopped treating every post like a test I had to pass. I started posting more when I actually felt like sharing something. And suddenly, one of my posts took off again. It reminded me of something important. Growth isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about finding your enjoyment again. I’m still learning, still experimenting and still building my community. But I refuse to let an algorithm decide whether I’m having a good day. Have you ever felt like giving up on something, only to get a little reminder to keep going? ❤️

X is draining, especially for small accounts fighting for relevance. If you’re verified, the pressure to stay active and chase engagement is even worse. You pay for Premium spend hours creating content and engaging, yet there’s no clear formula or guarantee for earnings. I have 5 active mutuals who paid for annual subscriptions. Their subscriptions were paused and now they’re no longer active. I’ve watched mutuals get suspended for reasons they couldn’t explain. I personally lost an account with over 20k followers during Nikita’s prime days The twist is X has also connected me with people who recommended me for gigs and job opportunities. That’s why you must be intentional about what you post. Your tweets are not just content. They’re your public identity. Potential clients, employers, business partners and people who can change your life may be watching silently. Chase engagement but don’t sacrifice your reputation for impressions. You never know which post will open the next door
How has your X experience been like since you started? Growth, decline, too tough, easy, believing in God, cruise, luck, or you are just there without direction? Tell your story, let's relieve some stress and have some fun!!! You might get directions too.

The vulture didn't grow bald for no reason. Nature didn't design its head to look as beautiful as the peacock's. Instead, its bald head helps it feed without getting its feathers soiled. Understand this: everything life has given you has the potential to earn you your daily bread when put to the right use in the right environment. Appreciate what nature gave you. Your difference may be your greatest advantage. Good evening from here.

Some days are for planting. Some days are for watering. Some days are for weeding. Some days are for harvesting. Every day is for farming. Not getting your desired result today doesn't mean you're not making progress. You may not be harvesting today, but keep farming. Your harvest will come. Good morning form here.

This is a genuine question of inquiry. Can ₦20M build a 3-bedroom apartment from start to finish?? (Excluding the cost of land purchase) 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

They had been married for seven years when she started leaving the house every Thursday evening. She said she had joined a women’s fellowship at a church two towns away. She said the meetings helped her. He never argued. He would watch her dress, kiss her forehead, and tell her to be careful on the road. One Thursday he finished work early. He decided to surprise her and drive her home. He reached the church gate at the time she usually left. The place was dark. The security man said no women’s meeting had been held there in months. He sat in the car and waited. Forty minutes later she came out of a building across the road. A man walked her to the junction. They stood talking for a while. Before she entered a keke, the man touched her face the way someone touches a person they have touched many times before. He did not follow her. He drove home another way and was already in the parlour when she arrived. She smiled and said the meeting had gone long. He smiled back and asked if she was hungry. For three weeks he said nothing. He watched her. He checked the mileage. He noticed she had started wearing a perfume he had never bought. On the fourth Thursday he left work at the normal time but parked two streets away from the building. He saw her go in. He waited. When she came out with the same man, he stepped forward. The man saw him first and stopped. She turned and her face changed. “Who is this?” the man asked her. She did not answer immediately. The man looked at her, then at him, and said, “You told me you were a widow.” She closed her eyes. The man shook his head, got into his car, and drove away without another word. She stood on the pavement with her bag in both hands. He looked at her for a long moment, then said, “The children are at my sister’s place. I already told her you might be late.” He walked back to his car. She did not follow. That night she came home after midnight. He was still awake. She stood in the doorway and said the man had blocked her. She said she was sorry. She said it had only been a few months. He nodded. He did not raise his voice. He simply told her the children would stay with his sister for a while. In the morning he moved his things into the spare room. She still cooked. She still asked about his day. He answered, but he no longer sat with her after the children were asleep. Three months later she asked if they could try again. He said he did not know. She has not asked a second time. Some evenings he still hears her crying softly in the other room. He does not go to her. And she has stopped leaving the house on Thursdays.
