This is a very confusing and terrible situation. Everyone thinks they know how they would react, but you can’t know unless it happens to you. Thank you for sharing the facts as you know them, Kelly.
As someone who back at the time who was close(so I thought) to Jay Christopher King and also to some degree, Kelly - Slowly watching this unfold has been both confusing and alarming. I don't know that my perspective in regards to watching it unfold is any helpful, as it has been just as confusing to me as anyone else hearing about it.
At the time, I heard variations of the account from JCK, slowly, in bits, and innuendos. Starting from a short while after said events occurred. I was also under the impression that I should not discuss any of this at the time(under the impression it was some kind of military operation and people were at risk, etc).
As more parts of the story become public, it remains just as confusing and alarming.
I hope there is truth and resolution in regards to whatever happened. Each potential possibility I can think of seem disturbing. No matter what the outcome.

I think having been involved in the UFO community for a number of years, and having a platform of my own, I feel it’s important that I speak up about the increasingly concerning reports of women being mistreated, manipulated, harassed or taken advantage of within this field.
There are incredibly talented, knowledgeable and respected women in this community, and we’re damn lucky to have them. When women come forward and share their experiences, often very difficult and personal ones, they deserve to be heard and taken seriously. We cannot constantly demand transparency and truth from others while failing to show that same openness and willingness to listen within our own community.
Nobody should be using their position, reputation or influence to exploit or intimidate others. Everyone deserves respect, dignity and accountability.
As a father to a young daughter, I want to set an example by standing up for what’s right and treating women with respect.
It’s time we did better.

I am not doing any of this for the sake of drama. I will names the names. I will answer questions. I will tell my entire story publicly and in an official police report.
I am moving slowly and methodically in order to protect myself, and to blaze a trail of protection for others. I am doing it publicly because predators thrive on compartmentalization and secrecy, and the innocent have nothing to hide.
The truth is powerful.

Airman Mario Woods unfortunately passed away on October 16 at 00:34 local time due to illness. Rest in Peace, Mario. I’m grateful for the kind gestures you had toward me. See you on the flip side. Condolences to his family and loved ones. 😢😔

In November 1977, Mario was a young Air Force security policeman at a nuclear missile site in South Dakota when he and his partner encountered something they couldn't explain. He was told never to speak of it, and for decades he didn't.
Then he spoke out anyway. He went on the record, testified under oath to the Pentagon's UAP office, and spent years searching for the one man who was there with him that night. This year, after 49 years apart, he was reunited with Michael Johnson.
I had the honor of interviewing Mario on The Good Trouble Show in May 2023. I'll never forget watching this big man, who had served his country, break down in tears as he relived that night.
Husband, father, grandfather, Air Force veteran. Our hearts are with his family.
We're putting together a tribute show for Mario tomorrow. More info to come.
