We are very proud of Jack and his success in the @EngMediaCentre competition. It is a great competition that encourages a thoughtful and creative response to reading that we hope to champion in our teaching. @ChristColBrecon @DHA_CCB

The Post-16 subject choices you make are really important.
E.g. To apply for #Medicine here at Christ's College, Cambridge, you need CHEMISTRY and TWO other subjects out of BIOLOGY, MATHS and PHYSICS at A level or equivalent.

Well done all 🙌
A special occasion for our Eco Council members and Senior pupils @ChristColBrecon who planted trees to mark King Charles’ coronation later this year. Thank you to our amazing ground staff, @BreconBeaconsNP @Stumpupfortrees for your help and support.
#internationalwomensday Book 4. Finding women to read in the GCSE specs gets a little tricky - only 8 of the choice of 26 texts are written by women. But Dr Evans’ class are enjoying this as their 19th Century text. instagram.com/p/Cphyk0JodZV/…

The best days as a teacher are when you are blindsided (in the best possible way) by the creativity of your pupils. @Art_CCB and Efanna: this is glorious!
A quite stunning test piece created by L6 student Efanna ahead of her Art A-Level coursework using the medium of stained glass! @ChristColBrecon @CforL_CCB @Art_CCB
This is a a fantastic selection - great recommends for Christmas reading. #readingforpleasure
Completely agree -the most powerfully moving of novellas. A story that stays with you in all its quiet picture of human cruelty and goodness.
Just finished 'Small Things Like These' by Clare Keegan - utterly brilliant. You must all rush out and buy it immediately.

Such a great trip for our Sixth Form.
Our Upper Sixth historians have successfully landed in Krakow, Poland! Good to see lots of layers and ear-muffs with temperatures of -2°! @ChristColBrecon
