lmao @bluesky fix up. Tried signing up and they asked me to pick my interests, I picked software dev and tech. Next onboarding screen was them suggesting some accounts for me to follow with individual follow buttons and then a "Follow all" button. I clicked on the "follow all" button and they banned my account immediately for "spam behaviors"

When you find yourself deep in an industry, you inevitably start conversing with buzz words that make you sound like you really really know what you’re talking about
Half of the time those buzz words could’ve been explained in the simplest way possible that even someone outside the industry would comprehend them

I want to say something controversial but, if this Ghanaian boy who was killed in Bronx was Nigerian, none of this sympathy would have been expressed by other Africans, they would blame him and say things like “he tried to scam them and they killed him”
