The next war won't be won by armies, navies or air forces alone.
It'll be won by the country whose 19 year olds can code, whose factories can build drones in weeks not years, and whose grid stays on when someone tries to switch it off.
Industry. Society. Economy. That's the fight now.
We're not ready. And we're not being honest about what getting ready will cost.

Keir, thank you for all our cooperation, your support, and the joint decisions that have helped make our Europe and our protection of life stronger.
The United Kingdom has been, is, and will remain among the worldβs leaders. Here in Ukraine, we deeply value Britain, and every meeting and every conversation we have had has always been filled with real substance.
Thank you for always being in touch, always engaged, and always striving to do what is needed and what will truly help.
I wish the United Kingdom and all British people every success as well as realisation of your national goals. We have confidence in Britain.
Keir, you are always a welcome guest in Ukraine.

A protest vote can feel powerful - but it doesnβt always have the impact people expect.
In many elections, votes donβt just reflect preference, they determine results. Sometimes a protest vote can unintentionally split support and help deliver an outcome further away from what was intended.
Thatβs why itβs worth thinking not just about what youβre voting against, but what your vote might actually help deliver on the day.

In my first year as an MP I tried to expand take up of free school meals to save low income households Β£500 per child. Today's vote is making it a reality for half a million more children

I trust @CQCProf are directing their resources to challenge this and ensuring itβs not a punitive measure to manage complaints and silence parents expressing concerns

Incredible and outrageous.
Incredibly this rare, ancient 21 mile long chalk stream is officially a road. Outrageously itβs being used for 4x4 fun - destroying nature in the process. In the days of horses and carts it was a road for good reason, that was a long time ago - government needs to urgently intervene. Allow this stream to be a stream - and a great nature habitat.

Incredibly proud to be a part of the administration to pass the last ever budget in the life of Runnymede Borough Council. A solid, balanced budget, putting local people first.
My thanks to Councillor Robert King for his leadership and efforts in the preparation of this budget.

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day where we remember the six million Jews and five million Roma, LGBT+, disabled and others murdered by the Nazis, alongside victims of subsequent genocides.
We must ensure the world knows and never forgets these atrocities.
