Excited to announce that @JSeyff and I have a new book coming out this fall called "Both Sides of the Coin" which is available for pre-order now. We thought it was time for a fresh look at bitcoin/crypto post-ETF and sought to write a fair and balanced book for everyday TradFi investors as well as crypto natives that tracks the risks, rewards, evolution and financialization of the asset class as well as the growing debasement/debt problem. We took great pains to cover as much as ground as poss in this 370-page book, no stone was left unturned. Here's a look at the chapters:
1. Bitcoin in a Nutshell (much more of an engineering feat than most ppl think)
2. The Currency Debasement Problem (inflation, debt etc is crucial for anyone hoping to understand the ‘purpose’ of btc as well as the rise of socialist politicians)
3. Store of Value Smackdown (btc vs gold)
4. Bitcoin in a Portfolio (hot sauce, for now)
5. The Filing Heard 'Round the World (the untold inside story of how Blk/Larry Fink evolved enough to file for ETF)
6. The ETF Solution (ETFs have solved for good bitcoin’s ‘intermediary problem’ eg FTX, Coldcard etc)
7. Suitcoiners (wall street/govt adoption, which OGs should embrace not dump on)
8. Alt Coins (top 12-ish cryptos explained in detail as well as how to evaluate them)
9. A Tokenized Future (the blockchain-ization of wall st and beyond)

Wild to me that a) a song has been #1 for 22 weeks and b) I’ve literally never heard it (am I that old and out of touch?). I just listened to it and i get it, it’s great, catchy as hell w soul to boot, like a more commercialized version of Lucinda Williams. I approve.
Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" is rewriting the record books.
The country music hit has tied the all-time Hot 100 record for most weeks at #1 — and bettors think its historic run isn't over yet.
Kalshi's prediction market gives it a 64% chance of holding the top spot for at least 29 weeks.
Can confirm. There’s condos and Sprouts being built all over town. Philly is highly underrated esp given the price, it’s like Brooklyn circa ‘96 inflation-wise and hipster-wise.
Gen Zers are fleeing NYC faster than any other US metro - flocking to a city just 90 miles away trib.al/DOGWSre
I call it the Road Runner market bc of how it eludes and escapes one doomer narrative after another thrown at it in vain by the columnists and bears a la the Coyote and his ACME products. They can't bring it down no matter what they try but they won't give up either. Beep beep.
Looking at $NANC and $GOP which offer baskets of the personal stock holdings of politicians in each party we found that a portfolio of the stocks that BOTH sides own (overlapping names) does the best and has easily beaten that market via @psarofagis
Oh man.. These hit me hard because from my generation. Barely Breathing is on my GenX Yacht Rock playlist. He also had good track called Wishful Thinking on the Great Expectations soundtrack. Sad. RIP.
Me this morning walking past 7 poor souls waiting in line while some lady is picking out Munchkin flavors with the cashier to grab my Macchiato and donut in five seconds flat having used the app

Do you use the D&D app? I feel like such a boss walking in there and just grabbing my sht while everyone is waiting in line.
Blue Horseshoe likes... Okta Inc, a cybersecurity stock that AI agents use for security/access). Our new tool that aggregates the daily buys/sells of 'big active' ETFs (an unprecedented transparency) shows that Okta has the highest combined net inflows ($142m) & impact score (43) for an initiated position over last 30 days. BlackRock's $13b active tech ETF was biggest buyer but JPM and Nuveen also initiated positions in their tech/growth ETFs. The mkt cap has gone from $11b to $33b in past 5mo. Further, @JSeyff now has Okta on the board for candidate for SPX inclusion in next rebal. And BofA this morning just announced increased price target on it. Credit to @FrancisSharoon for bringing tool to life and curating these filtered lists that we used in our note today. Both the note and the tool can be found on BI ETF
In our note we explain why this tool could only have happened recently as we finally have all the Big Active firms (whose PM teams also run a ton of MF money) running active ETFs with daily transparency. And those ETFs now have real money, $2T to be exact but growing like wildfire each year. The bigger these ETFs get the more useful Blue Horseshoe will become.
We also show how because of this development spotting the next Nvidia is much more possible than ever before. Nvidia was the 387th biggest stock ten yrs ago, microscopic weight in SPX. Then Big Active started buying. Mkt cap got bigger. Then the smart-beta, theme ETFs came, then ultimately Big Passive starts buying and today it is #1 stock. That's the cycle, but it all starts with CapGp, Fidelity etc and their arsenal of active dollars. In can go the other way too, eg GE, which used to be #1 and is now face in the crowd. That was active's doing. And now we can see what they like and don't like daily on a basis vs quarterly with delay.
Amplify filing for a Pro Sports Private & Public Ownership ETF $PROS which is a theme ETF tracking public sports companies plus a few privates. Again, this is exactly how I thought private cos fit best in ETFs: in the 15% illiquid bucket to 'complete' the theme
MANGOS Income Blast ETF is as close as we've gotten so far to Brawndo the Thirst Mutilator

I first read this as "I did less scumbag and more of what mattered" and was like damn that's refreshingly honest (even if it has absolutely nothing to do with my post), way to turn things around! Either way good advice, a routine you enjoy is crucial ingredient for happiness IMO

I did less scrambling and more of what mattered today. It's giving me a reason to smile at my own routine.
Yes. Here’s why: 1) btc leans younger, gold older 2) it will get used more by big money as it matures and settles down w both vol and corr 3) way more enthusiasm and sales firepower. no one is out there talking about gold ETFs but you got dozens of wholesalers (fluent in both crypto and boomer) out there educating on btc ETFs.
