Not as September-like today, but it's still shaping up to be a fine Friday. Playoff football games will be played under a mainly clear sky this evening.

A little more seasonable over the next couple of days, but the warmth will return as we kick off November. Aside from a passing sprinkle or shower overnight tonight, we should be rain-free until Wednesday night/Thursday of next week.

A taste of summer on Thursday, then a cooler Friday. The weekend is looking dry; some clouds for trick-or-treat Saturday evening, but Sunday is trending sunnier. Early next week is trending drier, but the 2nd half of the week should be cooler/unsettled.

With very few exceptions, it's been a warm October across the country.

Tuesday night 7-day: great afternoons Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The weekend will be cloudier but mainly dry...a small chance for late-day raindrops Sunday. A ew more rain chances next week.

Long range: pretty mild through middle of next week, then a modest cool down. November is likely to be warmer-than-average, although we are watching for a very early-season polar vortex disruption that presents some uncertainty about the "flavor" of the 2nd half of the month.
