I wish this would've came out like 2 to 3 years ago when I was creating red dead trailers for a popular community RP server back then. Those videos would be even more cinematic than they already were 😭
Ever wish Red Dead Redemption 2 had a Rockstar Editor? Rockstar never bothered to make one, so our team did.
Redemption Editor records everything happening around you in Story Mode (people, horses, wagons, trains, guns, props, explosions, sounds, weather, the sky) and plays it all back exactly the way it happened.
Then you get to be the director: drop cameras anywhere, cut between shots, add smooth camera moves, slow motion and depth of field, and export the whole thing as a video with the game's own sound.
Thanks Desmond and Levi, for helping me build this.
And this is a REAL voice actor exclusive for this mod!
After running a poll asking anyone outside of the s&box community what they would prefer as GAMES on s&box to be available on the Steam Workshop or just the platform directly.
Both Twitter and YouTube are two completely different worlds. This has been very interesting poll.
For the people whom are voting specifically steam workshop could you guys clarify as to why you’d prefer this over the current workshop that’s available? And if there was a way to do the same thing with the current workshop with subscribing and downloading addons would that work?
At the request of community and also Facepunch they’ve asked me to run a poll to see what you guys would prefer the games on S&box to be available on.
Either the steam workshop or available on the platform itself.
This is an important poll please vote.

Pretty cool. I haven't got the time to get to maps yet but may try for another day.
Steam workshop is now available for games and maps, Source 1 mounts including Garry's Mod!
But this update has seemed to already start a divide between what developers of s&box want and what players have been asking for a long time.

s&box games are now on Steam Workshop and can be subscribed and installed. And Source games can now be mounted like Garry's Mod.

I asked Facepunch developer Devultj about offline support for s&box. He mentioned that no info will be shared in today's blogpost but it will work if you have all your stuff offline.
This was a request that many people have requested to be able to play offline. Thoughts?
Apparently this change has stirred up the developer community on the s&box discord. I'll be talking about this more in detail with the latest update video going out today.
These changes are gonna feel like a weird "battle" between players and devs.
Facepunch developer Devultj has provided an update on how games will be published on the s&box moving forward with the steam workshop.
He clarifies the current downsides of this and has also mentioned more info is coming. As they understand this is not a fun change for devs.
I'm curious. What is the biggest reason that's stopping you from trying or playing s&box currently? Is it price, updates for games, updates for the sandbox mode or something else?
I'd like to know and also start a convo since many people are somewhat interested in the game.
Seems like the return of building props from Garry's Mod are now coming to the s&box sandbox mode! This was taken from today's commits leading up to the patch notes that are arriving today.
Hopefully it'll end up making it but a lot of commits focusing on updates for the mode.
More huge sandbox mode updates on s&box are coming possibly for tomorrow's update. But will this actually be enough to save the game moving forward?
