I've stood behind Northwest Ohio's workers and families as a union leader and advocate for our community, and now it's time to stand up for them in Columbus. I'm proud to be your candidate for Ohio State Representative in District 41.

A big win for Ohio's public school teachers and staff! The appeals court upheld the ruling that EdChoice vouchers are unconstitutional, recognizing the harm the program causes public schools. dispatch.com/story/news/educ…

Trauma is not a campaign strategy. Protecting survivors must be more than a talking point. It must be reflected in the laws we pass, the resources we fund, and the example we set. PERIODT! #protectwomen #protectchildren

As I continue recovery and return to Washington as Congress reconvenes, I visited with local reporter Josh Croup. Discussed many topics including my deep respect for NW Ohio first responders, medical professionals, and all they face each day. So grateful for their courage and utter devotion to duty.

Well written and so many young people who were not born sharing in the reason we honor & remember 🙏🏼
“Twenty-five years later, we have a responsibility to keep these stories alive, especially for the generations who were not here to experience them,” said Brielle Konrad, a student in Penta’s criminal justice program. toledoblade.com/local/educat…

Today on the 25th anniversary of 9/11 we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, including 21 members of the IBEW. May we never forget their memory.

Ohio has a chance to break the supermajority this November. I cannot overstate how important it is that we put an end to the GOP control of our legislative. I’d like to share a few of the most critical races on the ballot this year in Ohio. 🧵 (1/6)

Unbelievable. Dr. Acton, who is a physician, never left after the attack and helped to attend injured audience members. This is leadership.
BREAKING: Amy Acton’s attacker was armed with 2 guns, a taser, and brass knuckles. Patrick Havas faces 2 counts of assault and disorderly conduct after pushing through a crowd and knocking over 2 elderly people at the Canfield Fair. We’re glad Amy is okay. Pete Buttigieg told us just 24 hours earlier after a rally with her: “People write off Ohio like it’s just another red state. I think it’s going to surprise a lot of people when she wins.”

It's Disability Voting Rights Week! Disability activists have fought hard for accessibility rights for voters with disabilities, which benefit everyone. ➡ If you are a voter with a disability, make sure you know your rights before you go to vote! ➡ If you don't have a disability now, think about how the rights won by activists could make voting more accessible for you and others in your life. Disability Voting Rights Week is led by the REV UP campaign, a nonpartisan initiative from American Association of People with Disabilities to advocate for accessible futures, celebrate community, and build power. If you run into trouble when voting, call or text Election Protection at 866-OUR-VOTE to get help right away.
