In my latest article, I offer the most exhaustive critical analysis to date of the “Russian hybrid war” narrative. What I show is that many of the most widely publicised cases of supposed Russian “hybrid warfare” — von der Leyen’s jammed plane, the Baltic cable cuts, the DHL crash in Vilnius, the Heathrow fire, the wave of drone sightings that swept Europe in the autumn of 2025, the Romanian TikTok campaign — turned out to be media-amplified speculation that collapsed under basic scrutiny. Yet almost every day, new claims are made – with little or no evidence ever provided. Ultimately, serious scrutiny of the “Russian hybrid warfare” narrative can only lead to one disquieting conclusion. A “hybrid war” is indeed being waged against Europe — but it is being waged by the EU-NATO establishment itself, against its own population. Europeans are being subjected to a sustained campaign of cognitive or psychological warfare aimed at conditioning them to believe that Europe is under attack from Russia, and that these hybrid attacks are a prelude to conventional hostilities — a claim for which, by and large, there is little or no proof. What the record points to, in fact, is a deliberate campaign of threat inflation in which governments, media outlets and defence-funded “think tanks” have colluded to instil a permanent sense of fear in the population, through relentless coverage of “incidents”, “attacks”, “sabotages” and “campaigns” that, in most cases, simply do not exist. I would therefore appreciate it if he respected the fact that I prefer peace. Czech President Petr Pavel, whom I have always treated with respect and due regard as the head of the sovereign Czech Republic, often tends to comment on my work. This time, he took issue with my position on attempts to provoke a military conflict between NATO and Russia. I understand that, as a former NATO general, he would like to fight. I expect him to respect my commitment to pursuing peace. Let me therefore repeat once again, so that there can be no doubt: 1️⃣ The West’s military rhetoric and the search for a pretext for a military conflict with Russia are intended to distract from the liberal world’s inability to address basic challenges such as the price and availability of energy and fuel, as well as illegal migration. 2️⃣ As long as I am Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, I will not agree to Slovak soldiers taking part in any military adventure provoked by anyone within NATO. 3️⃣ In the event of an actual armed attack against one or more NATO member states, the relevant Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty provides NATO members with several options for demonstrating solidarity.

I think you can be anti-Russia and still a somewhat intelligent and morally coherent person. There are people in whose ethnic, religious or even financial interest it is to be anti-Russian and support war against Russia. They are just normal adversaries. Sometimes you gotta kill them when it comes to that but that's life. However, I don't believe that you can be sincerely pro-Ukrainian and still a good person. Actually supporting the Kiev regime and believing they're "the good guys" (sincerely, not for personal profit or purely anti-Russia reasons) means that you are morally defective and evil, or such a stupid NPC biodrone that you're basically outside of any ethical consideration.
