i came across a tiktok talking about how we don't really REST anymore, and it's such a weird thing to think about
doom scrolling, constantly thinking about what we need to do next, or feeling guilty for doing nothing... sometimes we're physically resting but our minds never actually get a break
no wonder we end up feeling so overwhelmed and burnt out
it's time to give ourselves permission to slow down. read a book, sit outside, listen to music, daydream, or just exist without feeling like we need to be productive
you don't always need to be doing something. it's okay to take a break from life and just be🌿💗
