I’ve decided to see how long it’ll take me to put together every jigsaw puzzle I have (~200). This past week: puzzles my mom got me from national parks, etc., that she’s visited. 1. Rocky Mountain (500) 2. Crater Lake (500) 3. Natural Bridges (500, 1 missing) 4. Glacier (500)

Welcome to General Conference. In the Conference Center, a new statue titled Christ Visits the Americas, by sculptor Michael Hall, portrays the moment the Savior first appears to the people, as told in 3 Nephi 11. In that account, God the Father introduces His Son, Jesus Christ: "Behold my Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, in whom I have glorified my name—hear ye him." Today and tomorrow, you're invited to do just that. Through messages delivered by prophets, apostles, and other inspired leaders, General Conference provides an opportunity for you to hear God's voice—wherever you are. Conference begins at 10 a.m. MT. Watch on ChurchofJesusChrist.org. #GeneralConference #HearHim

I don’t remember specifically which game got me into gaming, but this is one earliest that I loved as a kid. (Joust on Atari).
En este mapa me enamoré de los videojuegos.

A little while ago I was doing M10S, and some of our party members were having lag issues. Keep on eye on the dead bodies! #FFXIV

The funny thing is that I was so locked in that I didn’t even notice. My kids sure did, though.😆

I was looking to sign up my kids for swimming lessons at our local rec center. This is the list of all the classes they offer; one of these things is not like the others.

At church, the children are sorted into classes by their current age and the age they will turn during the year. At the end of church, they’re excused one class at a time. “The 4/5 class is excused.” “Now the 5/6 class is excused.” “…Sister Johnson, your class is excused.”

My kids are saying that I have to do Dancing Mad Ultimate, but I haven’t even cleared M12S. Although, since I main machinist, it would be pretty satisfying to give Kefka a chainsaw to the face!

On May 18, my youngest sister had to have an emergency c-section, and her baby girl was born 14 weeks early. She lived for 10 days then sadly passed away. I’m so heartbroken for my sister, but it’s far from what she’s feeling. Please pray for her. gofundme.com/f/help-baby-thr…

During the winter, days can feel heavy and gray. As a regular part of their work before flights, pilots do outside checks of their aircraft. During cold and rainy days, this is not their favorite part of the job. But one of my favorite experiences as a pilot on a day like that came after taking off and climbing through dark clouds when, suddenly, the aircraft climbed into the clear, brilliant, and beautiful sunlight—leaving behind dark clouds, rain, and slush. That instant contrast taught me that when we focus our eyes on heaven, we can emerge into light—even during the seemingly darkest of days. However thick the clouds, the sun is always there, waiting to shine on us as we rise toward heaven. If you feel weighed down and troubled, please don’t lose heart. Keep moving forward and upward with faith, prayer, and trust in the Lord. His light is always there to lead and comfort us.

Transcendent Experience When a prophet dies, the transition to the next prophet is orderly for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The established pattern is that the senior apostle becomes the next prophet. After President Russell M. Nelson died Sept. 27, President Dallin H. Oaks was ordained as the church’s 18th prophet in a special meeting of the Twelve on Tuesday, Oct. 14. In this Church News video, titled "Transcendent Experience," President D. Todd Christofferson of the First Presidency and President Jeffrey R. Holland, president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, talk about their previous experiences participating in a sacred meeting when a new prophet is ordained. The meeting in which President Russell M. Nelson was ordained as president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the first such meeting President Christofferson was able to attend. He said he felt the strong impression during the meeting that the process was inspired. “It was the Lord’s will and direction and the witness of his Spirit in the moment that I found very powerful,” he said.
