There seem to be more and more videos emerging of police questioning people simply for preaching Christianity or reading from the Bible on Britain’s streets.
Free speech and freedom of religion are fundamental rights. Police resources should be focused on tackling serious crime, not repeatedly questioning peaceful preachers about their words.
In the year ending March 2026, police recorded 74,727 rape offences in England and Wales.
That is where I want to see police time, resources and attention focused.
Britain needs policing priorities that protect the public and defend our freedoms.

I’m absolutely disgusted that @georgegalloway has been debanked.
We’ve seen this before with Nigel Farage, Tommy Robinson and others, across more than one bank. Pick somebody considered “troublesome” or unpopular, see how much outrage there is, and if people shrug because they don’t particularly like the victim, suddenly the principle itself becomes normalised.
That is how freedoms are lost.
Having principles means defending the freedoms of people you don’t always agree with. Otherwise they aren’t principles at all, they’re privileges you only extend to your own side.
A bank should not be able to wield access to something as fundamental as banking as a weapon against lawful political speech or unpopular opinions.
Please make your displeasure known to @LloydsBank. And if you bank with them, I’d seriously consider moving your money somewhere else rather than financially supporting an institution you believe is abusing its power in this way.
