Was just complaining about this to the driver that picked me up. Lagos looks so rough. Every where is so rough no single respite of softness. It is too bad
The Nigerian government, and Nigerians generally, need to start taking aesthetics a lot more seriously. Look at the backdrop of the National Theatre. That beautiful lake, the bridge and the Blue Line running across it. It is such a stunning composition. It should be a defining visual of Lagos, an iconic postcard that people deliberately visit to photograph, much like the Eiffel Tower in Paris. But you get there and the bushes around the lake are overgrown and there is litter everywhere. Aesthetic is not frivolity. So many countries/cities have used aesthetic to create and attract massive economic opportunities.

We all know the reason why this poor quiet Ghanaian boy was shot dead in his school It is terrorism from those thuggish people who hate Africans so much when all Africans try to do is keep their heads down and mind their business The USA has many kinds of domestic terrorism but this particular kind targeted at African immigrants is the most under-discussed
This is unbearable..I’m tearing up 🥲

All this big mouth Gen Z niggas need to stop talking football. You can’t watch the super Eagles play in 1996 and not be hurt by how Super Eagles play right now. These fuckers play with no heart. Better not to have a super Eagles team than watch Osimhen and his ilk play.
On Sunday Oliseh & 1994 Super Eagles: “I’M TIRED OF NIGERIAN FOOTBALL LEGENDS CAPPING!” 😳🇳🇬

I hate kids who bully other kids. Bullying is one of the worst crimes that is allowed to continue in our society because perpetrators are usually under 18. We need iron fist policies against bullies. If you are old enough to bully, you should be old enough to go to prison.
You can look at him and tell he was a good kid. He didn’t deserve that and I hope they catch those boy who killed him

Government of Ghana’s statement on the tragic killing of Javits Frimpong in the Bronx, New York. I have spoken to the father of Javits, Mr. Thomas Frimpong and directly conveyed the condolences of the Government and people of Ghana. On my instructions, officials of our Permanent Mission in New York have visited the family and coordinating with local authorities. The Foreign Ministry will work tirelessly with US authorities to ensure justice is secured. The family of Javits and his loved ones remain in our thoughts and prayers. May God grant his lovely soul a peaceful repose. For God and Country 🇬🇭 🙏🏾

Reminder: An undocumented criminal who terrorized his building with a machete and has a history of avoiding deportation received an outpouring of community support after being grazed by a bullet. Meanwhile, a teenage boy is murdered by thugs on his way to school, and where is the outrage? No marches. No speeches. No blocking traffic demanding justice. Where the hell are the social justice warriors?
The father of a teen killed in a shooting in the Bronx spoke through tears as he remembered his son. Read more: pix11.com/news/crime/teen-ki…

Have to be a retard to say other FCT Ministers have not done anything.
What exactly were the past FCT Ministers doing in Abuja all these years? They achieved very little. It is ironic that some people opposed Wike’s nomination as FCT Minister simply because he is a Southerner. This is clear example of how blind tribal politics hinders the development of this country. This road project was awarded in 2011 under the Jonathan administration, a stretch of less than 15 km meant to ease traffic in the Karu and Maraba axis. For over 13 years, they couldn’t deliver this small road! Same story with so many important roads in the outskirts and suburbs Abuja. Damn!

Nigga wanted to colonize Africa. Got his shit handed to him by one of the smallest countries in Africa.
Sanctioning Rwanda is an important step toward ending Kagame's brutal invasion of Congo. Europe's inaction on this subject risks damaging its already limited credibility on the world stage.

This person is a US Army veteran, so he has an American passport. His children live in the USA, yet every day, he is online engaging in performative anti-Western rhetoric. He enjoys the benefits of having served in the US Army, the military of the world’s foremost imperialist power! Since he has realised that most Nigerians won’t indulge his “China good, USA bad” nonsense, he has decided to resort to bigotry, the tactic that works so well for him. The Pan-Africanissm he is using to mask his fraudulent activism was started by an Igbo man. Mind you, he will never relocate his family permanently to China or Nigeria. These are the dangerous hypocrites we’re dealing with. Uncanny humans!
Iv sha noticed is is very hard for a Yoruba person to have this kinda mentality. We are too nationalist to be slaves cos wtf is this nonsense 😂

I like this guy. He seems very grounded on what true pan-Africanism should be.
‘I was eager to come and see what socialist society was like’ — Ghana’s President John Mahama to RT A scholarship took him to Moscow for a two-year master’s in social psychology as the USSR was changing He made friends and learned Russian — some of it comes back when he visits

Nigerians hoping for a military coup are just people too lazy to put in the work of organizing and studying.
This is simply the truth. The military in Burkina Faso possesses a far more sophisticated ideological grounding compared to the Nigerian Army, all thanks to the enduring legacy of Thomas Sankara. Sankara was a Marxist who sought to use military statecraft to liberate his people. Even though his project was ultimately cut short and the colonial institutions in Burkina Faso remained intact and breathing, he succeeded in planting an ideological seed from which Captain Ibrahim Traore germinated decades later. To be fair, Traore is nowhere near Sankara's status yet. His administration is still gobbling up imperial loans from Western financial institutions and even facilitating medical imperialism against his own people on behalf of Washington. However, I remain cautiously bullish on his administration. I hope that at the right time, he will transition from a military dictatorship into a true dictatorship of the proletariat and completely dismantle the colonial structures, including the very colonial army to which he belongs. The problem is that most Nigerians who look at Burkina Faso and start celebrating, praying for a similar coup to happen here, completely fail to comprehend the massive ideological divergence between Burkinabe military doctrines and those of Nigeria. I continue to ask myself why there is this bizarre fetishization of coups in Nigeria. We have had several military coups in our history, all of which were advertised as necessary interventions to end corruption and bring salvation to the masses. Instead, the result was always the exact same: the military elite simply became the new political bourgeoisie, amassing fleets of luxury cars, securing massive estates, and signing off lucrative oil blocks to their cronies. The Nigerian military never possessed any concrete economic blueprints on how to leverage our fertile lands to feed our people or industrialize the nation. Instead, they descended into an abyss of 13th-century primitivism. Their grand economic strategy was deploying armed soldiers into local markets to whip and brutalize petty traders, forcing them to sell goods at artificially lowered state prices to "fight inflation." Predictably, this primitive price control triggered artificial scarcity, spiked inflation even further, and rightfully made the working masses despise the military leadership strata. By all logistical and tactical metrics, the Nigerian Army may be better equipped and heavily funded compared to Burkina Faso, but ideologically speaking, they are worlds apart. This is why I still do not understand why our people fail to recognize this glaring difference. Today, the older generation in Burkina Faso continues to revere and celebrate Sankara. But if you mention military coups to our parents here in Nigeria, they will sternly warn you never to pray for one, because honestly speaking, every single one of them ended in catastrophic failure and institutional ruin. These are obvious, historically verifiable facts. Yet, whenever I point them out, they accuse me of being a sophisticated psy-op.🤷

I think faux pan-Africanism from fakers who live in the West is just tantrum from being treated as second-class citizens. The focus is not creating prosperity in Africa. Just childish “pepper them”tantrums. Anyone who really cares sees the stupidity in most of their posts.
Man, I am not a hypocrite like you. Lived in the West, was schooled in the West, and I prefer my home, so I returned. Does that not sound strange to you? Of course yes; you'd rather die in the West than live in the kumbaya world you pretend to fight for. Faux Pan-Africanists like you are comedic.
