The voyage continues, but its story will be written on a different page. We hope you'll keep following along with us during our journey to Jupiter's ocean moon Europa! For the latest updates, please follow @NASASolarSystem and visit nasa.gov/europaclipper
As part of @NASA’s effort to streamline communications, this account will be archived in the coming weeks – but don't worry, our mission is still on its way to Jupiter's ocean moon Europa! For the latest news, please follow @NASASolarSystem and visit science.nasa.gov/mission/eur…

Practice run: During our spacecraft's recent high-speed pass by Mars for a gravity assist, we tested our thermal imager. Calibrating the instrument will help us get ready to use it to delve into the secrets of Europa's ice shell and what lies beneath. go.nasa.gov/43t9WJa

For #NationalPoetryMonth, here's a connection written in the stars. As they make their interplanetary journeys, Europa Clipper and Lucy both carry poetry by a US Poet Laureate: Joy Harjo on Lucy's plaque and Ada Limón on Europa Clipper's vault plate. europa.nasa.gov/spacecraft/v…
It’s time to peek back in your #LucyTimeCapsule!
The Lucy spacecraft carries a time capsule of its own: a plaque inscribed with quotes and poems.

It's a very long hike, but we think the view at the top will be worth it...
How long does it take to get to different bodies in our solar system – like the Moon, Mars, or Jupiter? We asked a NASA scientist.
For @EuropaClipper, it will take just over 5 1/2 years to reach the Jovian system.
It's time for a new #MarchMadness tradition:
Did you know NASA's Europa Clipper spacecraft spans more than 100 feet (about 30 meters) – about the length of a basketball court?

Another time-honored Super Bowl tradition:
Did you know that the @Space_Station is 357 feet end-to-end? That’s almost the same length as a football field, including both end zones. #SBLIX
Not to be confused with Jupiter's moon Europa, another world with evidence for a subsurface ocean! Here's how we'll explore it: europa.nasa.gov/why-europa/e…

Thanks, Psyche team, for this look at Mars, which we just passed. And thanks especially for the preview of our ultimate destination, Jupiter's moons. Good luck on your own Mars gravity assist next year!
On its journey to the asteroid belt, #MissionToPsyche snapped a photo – and it captured quite the stellar lineup: Mars, Jupiter, and all four of the Galilean moons (Io, Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa! 👀

ALT A starfield image taken by the Psyche spacecraft on January 27, 2025, using its Psyche Multispectral Imager B with a 5-second exposure at 540 nm. The image captures Jupiter and Mars, both labeled near the center. A zoomed-in inset in the lower-left corner highlights Jupiter’s four largest moons—Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto—visible as bright dots near the planet. Several background stars, including Omega¹ Tau, Omega² Tau, and V1137 Tau, are labeled.
Jupiter's icy moon Europa is one of the most intriguing destinations in the solar system. We're on our way there. nasa.gov/europaclipper
Stay on target: Right now, Europa Clipper is performing a gravity assist maneuver at Mars, using the planet's gravity to adjust the spacecraft's trajectory as we continue the 5.5-year journey to Jupiter. go.nasa.gov/4bfYfba
We'll provide real-time position updates.
🛰🧵
The spacecraft will glimpse our home world one last time as it completes the second and final gravity assist. We'll arrive at Jupiter in April 2030. More: science.nasa.gov/mission/eur…
