I composed a Dark Souls-inspired dragon boss theme. This was a blast to create and pushed me to experiment with new orchestration and textures. Time signature is 7/8 and 6/8
It's surprisingly difficult to get friends and family to listen to my music. And they often assume I used shortcuts rather than composing and programming every note then mixing and mastering it.

D&D Boss Battle Commission - "The Executioner"
Had a lot of fun with the instrumentation. I blended a few low woodwinds with trombone and cello for that rich melodic voice. The harmony is played with bartok pizzicatos.

Albion Tundra is the best sample library purchase I made. Each orchestral patch sounds beautiful and instantly conjures imagery of a frozen world. I like to use the far mics and high release to get a colossal sense of space.
