Last week, Amanda's appeal was officially filed at Florida's First District Court of Appeal. So there's no better time to hear Part 2 of @EvidenceProf's talk with @nleighhunt, the "what happens next" conversation. Amanda is innocent, and this is why so many of us won't stop. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas… freeamandalewis.com #FreeAmandaLewis

Two of my favorite podcasts in one episode. Colin Miller (@EvidenceProf) of Undisclosed sat down with @nleighhunt for a two-part In Esto bonus on Amanda's case. Part 1 is all about new evidence and a new appeal. Amanda has served more than 18 years in Florida and still maintains her innocence. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas… freeamandalewis.com #FreeAmandaLewis

Tragic news: Curtis Flowers, who faced an extraordinarily ordeal by being prosecuted six times for the same crime by a Mississippi DA over decades before SCOTUS sided with him in 2019, just died at 56. Flowers' case was core to the 'In the Dark' podcast. mississippitoday.org/2026/10…

New episode on the Holly Bobo/Zachary Adams case:
4 men were prosecuted for the abduction of Holly Bobo from her carport. All 4 were excluded as the source of a palm print on the hood of Holly's car & none matched the description of the man her brother saw taking her into the woods. New season of @Undisclosedpod debuts tomorrow:

Tennessee pumped Christa Pike full of pentobarbital twice, failed to kill her, then rushed her to a hospital, to heal her so they can try to kill her again. The logic of the modern death penalty in a nutshell.

Even harder to be a holdout for guilt than acquittal. But yeah, Reddington's strategy is clear now. You either pressure or remove the juror. In the alternative, you oppose mistrial, and say on appeal it was not manifestly necessary, which also gets you an acquittal.
Reddington just told us the hold out is for guilty. That juror has doubts but he won’t vote NG. Wow

Kevin Reddington quotes the note as saying, a particular juror "has made statements acknowledging doubt but refuses to apply it to the verdict as the law states.” He's asking the judge to question the individual juror, who he is referring to as "he." There are 3 men on the jury.
NEW: Judge Sullivan confirms that a SECOND note came back from the jury at the end of the day yesterday. He's asking the lawyers now to argue what he should do with the note. He hasn't read it. #LindsayClancy

We have movement Sitting in the hallway outside the courtroom door where the Lindsay Clancy trial is taking place on verdict watch. Journalists and members of the public are seated on benches and sitting on the floor up and down the hallway waiting to hear court officers open the door to tell us there is something to come in for. We are not allowed in the courtroom until there is a reason, possibilities include a note to be read by the judge from Jurors, the jurors being brought back in to be excused and instructed not to talk about the case, or a verdict. No cameras are allowed up here - I just counted 83 people waiting. Door just opened
