Exein raised $270M at a $1.7B valuation to build the security layer for Physical AI.
The new funding allows us to expand globally our protection for intelligent machines that use AI to perceive, make decisions, and act in the physical world.
The round is led by @HeadlineVC, with participation from Sofina, @GoldmanSachs, the @EIB Group through ETCI, @KfW_int, and T-Capital by @deutschetelekom, and continued backing from @balderton, @HV_Capital, Intrepid Growth Partners, 33N, @lakestarvc, Supernova Invest, Blue Cloud Ventures, and Geodesic Capital.
This comes alongside an upsized revolving credit facility led by @jpmorgan, with KfW joining.

Exein partners with @DT_IoT bring security to connected devices across the DT IoT ecosystem.
Deutsche Telekom IoT provides worldwide connectivity across industries and markets, with its own transatlantic network and around 600 roaming and satellite partners. Exein protects the connected devices running on that network.
This partnership comes as the industry changes fast.
Critical systems are moving directly onto devices in the field. Robots, drones and industrial machines are starting to act autonomously and make decisions in the physical world, at unprecedented speed. This transition needs protection built in from the start, protection that understands how these systems behave and remediates at machine speed.

"We started with this idea that nobody was looking at the very simple things ... like a light bulb."
