Tonight's @Toyota Hero of the Match is retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Norman Baker. Baker served 21 years and flew more than 1,100 combat flight hours. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross three times, the Bronze Star Medal, the Air Medal eight times, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, and the Air Force Commendation Medal. Thank you for your service!

We welcome tonight's Honorary Captain of the Match pres. by @UTSWMedCenter, Mardarius Harper! Mardarius is a second year genetic counseling student at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He hopes to expand access and awareness of genetic services, especially in underserved populations, and is interested in specializing in either cancer or cardiovascular genetics.

We welcome U.S. Air Force veteran Victor Ramos as tonight’s @Toyota Hero of the Match! Ramos retired after 20 years of service as a Technical Sergeant (E-6). During his career, he served as an avionics technician working on various aircrafts. Today, he continues to support our military as a contractor for the U.S. Navy, working on P-8 aircrafts.  Thank you for your service!

We welcome tonight’s honorary Captain of the Match, @Childrens Health Patient Ambassador Frank! Born with complex heart defects, Frank underwent multiple procedures at Children’s Health, including a rare two-part surgery that helped his heart function normally. Today, Frank is thriving!

We welcome tonight's @Toyota Hero of the Match, Chad Shawler! Chad served in the U.S. Navy from 1996 to 2002 as a Fire Controlman aboard the USS Carl Vinson, with two deployments in support of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. After retirement from the U.S Navy, Chad launched Patriot Smarthome, a veteran-owned company in North DFW. Thank you for your service!

We welcome tonight's Honorary Captain of the Match pres. by @UTSWMedCenter, Max Ma! Max is a 2nd year MPH student in Applied Epidemiology at the O'Donnell School of Public Health. His current research projects work on optimizing the U.S organ transplant system and understanding the utilization of cancer treatment for lymphomas patients!

We welcome U.S. Air Force E-4 Israel Tristan as tonight’s @Toyota Hero of the Match! Israel served five years as a Tactical Radio Maintainer with the Air Support Operations Squadron, including a deployment to Afghanistan from 2019 to 2020.  Thank you for your service!

We welcome tonight's Honorary Captain of the Match, @Childrens Health Patient Ambassador, Clark! After being born with life-threatening complications, Clark spent 40 days at Children’s Health where specialized NICU care and lifesaving ECMO gave his heart and lungs time to heal. Today, Clark is thriving and loves animals, dinosaurs and playing outside!

We welcome tonight's @Toyota Hero of the Match, Colonel Luis Omar Lomas, a proud US Army veteran with 33 years of service, including multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Colonel Lomas served in senior leadership roles around the world before retiring as the Army's Deputy Provost Marshal General. Thank you for your service!

We welcome tonight's Honorary Captain of the Match pres. by @UTSWMedCenter, Durga Kaveti! Durga is a second year medical student at UT Southwestern Medical Center and is interested in orthopedic surgery and emergency medicine, with a passion for integrating engineering and medicine. He grew up in Frisco and graduated from UT Dallas with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering!
