hi! person with bpd here, NO we absolutely CANNOT control our impulses! tf do think they're called “impulses” for? 😭 i have such a hard time like, it's a legitimate battle to control mine to the point i had to ask to add another medication, lamotrigine along with sertraline both of these meds together are the only things keeping me in control of my brain, otherwise it'd have control of me.
